Pray that Emerald Hills will remain a place of beauty, that the work of the Creator will remain spotless and unblemished.  May its raw beauty and purity emanate the nature of the Creator Himself.  Pray that because of its purity, Emerald Hills will be a place to retreat and worship God in the beauty of holiness.

Dearest Father, Today we would like to thank you for dedicated volunteers like Harold, Jerry, and Tim.  Because of them, we have staircases to the loft and electrical wiring in the Freedom Barn and at Emerald Hills.  Thank you, Father, for their time, effort, and selflessness.  Thank you for these men and other men and women like them who have worked untiringly despite the sorrows, obstacles, and interferences life has thrown their ways.  Thank you for Jerry and Tim who completed projects within twenty-four hours of their own mothers’ funerals.  And thank you, God, for mothers who raised such men.  In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Amighty Father, as I stepped out my back door just after sunrise this morning, my eyes were attracted to the pink-edged clouds above, and my immediate thought was, "The heavens declare the glory of God." In fact, I shouted it, so that if any of my neighbors were awake, they could hear it. It appeared that they weren’t, so only my daughter heard it as she drove off to work. And You heard it.  Praise Your Holy Name!

 May our focus be on You today. It is You, the Creator of heaven and earth, Who has shown such goodness and mercy and loving kindness to us who are unworthy servants.  Thank you, Father. 

 I thought about the future, and how a morning like this will look and feel at Emerald Hills, how this beautiful setting in Your handiwork will radiate with praise for Your glory. So this morning as I stand before you, I also want to stand beside you in the tasks that lay ahead. Enable me, Father, as well as others who are joining the armies of men, women, and young people who are praying and volunteering to get the job done so that Emerald Hills can be a place which will facilitate the redemption of others all around the world.  May we focus on things above, on eternity, and on You Who is able to complete the good work You have begun. 

 In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Lift up those who are planning and participating in the dedication of the Freedom Barn on February 18.  Pray that the amazing story of how the Freedom Barn came to be will be inspiring to those who hear it and glorifying to God Who did it.  Pray for Gustavo and the Hispanic praise team as they lead worship and for Chris Bushnell as he brings the message.  Pray that the attendees will be united in the mind of Christ and will leave with a greater vision of what God will accomplish at Emerald Hills that can lead to the salvation of the nations.

"Today, dear Father, we are asking that You would strengthen us for the work that has been undertaken at Emerald Hills.  You have begun a good work.  Now use us to complete it.  Besides strength, O God, we are asking for faith, for patience, for perseverence, for zeal, and for passion to continue on in this work.  Right now, we are engaged in physical and financial challenges, but we know that this is all because of the spiritual purpose for which Emerald Hills exists.  Prepare us for that spiritual work as well.  We are asking this in the precious Name of Jesus.  Amen."

Praise God for the love that is radiating from and because of Emerald Hills.  Volunteers, such as the men from Fern Creek Christian Church, are giving of their time and talents so that the Freedom Barn might be completely finished.  They are motivated by their love for God and His love for them.  They have caught the vision of Emerald Hills as a prayer, retreat, and learning center which will facilitate the advancing of the Kingdom and the salvation of souls.  "Thank You, God, for men such as these who give of their time for Your purposes.  Thank You that their love for You is seen in the light of their eyes and the work of their hands.  May the love grow and continue to radiate from Emerald Hills.  In the Name of Jesus, Amen."

Please pray for Aaron Johnson as he continues working at Emerald Hills on the Freedom Barn.  Pray for safety and productivity as Aaron and volunteers finish up the duct work for the third geothermal heater.  Pray also that the warmth of God’s love might radiate from Emerald Hills to the farthest reaches of the world.

Today begins another work week in which much can be accomplished towards making Emerald Hills a prayer, retreat, and learning center which will optimize opportunities to worship and glorify God.  As work on the Freedom Barn nears completion, planning is in progress for the Prayer Pavilion.  Pray that God will provide funding, volunteers, energy, and dedication to complete these projects and the others that will come after them.
