2018-04-07: Whatever You Do.

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him..” (Colossians 3:17) .Pray that everything done through believers in Bosnia would be done for and through the great and powerful name of Jesus.

2018-04-06: Give Praise.

Give praise to God for the opportunity to take Jonathan Training to a former part of the USSR April 6-15. Pray for Team Expansion workers from a nearby country who will also attend. Pray for the team to embrace the disciple making principles and tools. Pray for a breakthrough and a movement in this land of diverse religious beliefs and practices ,including many who are agnostics and atheists.

2018-04-05: Polako.

“Polako,” they say when kids are running too fast. “Polako,” they say when someone is anxiously hurrying in the checkout lane. But “polako” is not just a word that means “slow down, take it easy,” it is a way of life. “Polako” – sip your coffee. “Polako” enjoy an evening walk. “Polako” – What is so important that you can’t slow down, breathe, and simply put one foot in front of the other? Pray that this cultural value of slowing down and enjoying life would filter into the way people of Banja Luka spend time with God. Pray that they would hear Him calling, “Polako”, and like little children, come to Him to just be still and enjoy His Presence.

2018-04-03: Hold Fast.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23) Pray believers in Bosnia would hold firmly to their hope in Jesus – without wavering. Pray they would rest on the Faithful One, trusting that what He will do what He has said He will do.

2018-04-02: Waters Raging.

“I can see waters raging at my feet; I can feel the breath of those surrounding me; I can hear the sound of nations rising up. We will not be overtaken. We will not be overcome. I can walk down this dark and painful road; I can face every fear of the unknown; I can hear all God’s children singing out. We will not be overtaken. We will not be overcome.” (Jeremy Camp) Ask God to remind workers in Europe of His power when they feel overwhelmed by the responsibility of spreading the Gospel to the nations. Pray that European believers would tap into the same power that raised Jesus from the dead when they walk dark, painful roads and fear the unknown. Pray for victory and triumph among the Balkan peoples.

2018-04-01: Same Power.

Jeremy Camp was inspired by God’s Word and Spirit to pen a song called “Same Power.” The chorus goes like this: “The same power that rose Jesus from the grave, the same power that commands the dead to wake lives in us, lives in us! The same power that moves mountains when He speaks. The same power that can calm a raging sea lives in us, lives in us!” Praise God for His resurrection power and the victory over sin, death, and Satan.

2018-03-30: Resumption of Work.

Pray for the resumption of work in a very sensitive field in North Africa. One family re-entered this country yesterday. Pray for their protection and for fruit for the Kingdom from this land.

2018-03-29: West Africa.

Give thanks and praise God for what He is accomplishing through a team in West Africa. Ask God to care for the leaders of weekly ‘simple churches’ to keep them motivated and active in sharing God’s story and their own personal testimony. Pray that these 43 groups would multiply many times over so that many more people will hear the Gospel. Pray for health and safety for the team. There is always some new variant of malaria or some other communicable disease just waiting to ambush the family’s children.
