2018-04-05: Polako.

“Polako,” they say when kids are running too fast. “Polako,” they say when someone is anxiously hurrying in the checkout lane. But “polako” is not just a word that means “slow down, take it easy,” it is a way of life. “Polako” – sip your coffee. “Polako” enjoy an evening walk. “Polako” – What is so important that you can’t slow down, breathe, and simply put one foot in front of the other? Pray that this cultural value of slowing down and enjoying life would filter into the way people of Banja Luka spend time with God. Pray that they would hear Him calling, “Polako”, and like little children, come to Him to just be still and enjoy His Presence.
