"Today, dear Father, we are asking that You would strengthen us for the work that has been undertaken at Emerald Hills. You have begun a good work. Now use us to complete it. Besides strength, O God, we are asking for faith, for patience, for perseverence, for zeal, and for passion to continue on in this work. Right now, we are engaged in physical and financial challenges, but we know that this is all because of the spiritual purpose for which Emerald Hills exists. Prepare us for that spiritual work as well. We are asking this in the precious Name of Jesus. Amen."

2006-01-25: Acts of love are radiating from Emerald Hills.
Praise God for the love that is radiating from and because of Emerald Hills. Volunteers, such as the men from Fern Creek Christian Church, are giving of their time and talents so that the Freedom Barn might be completely finished. They are motivated by their love for God and His love for them. They have caught the vision of Emerald Hills as a prayer, retreat, and learning center which will facilitate the advancing of the Kingdom and the salvation of souls. "Thank You, God, for men such as these who give of their time for Your purposes. Thank You that their love for You is seen in the light of their eyes and the work of their hands. May the love grow and continue to radiate from Emerald Hills. In the Name of Jesus, Amen."

2006-01-24: Duct work at Freedom Barn.
Please pray for Aaron Johnson as he continues working at Emerald Hills on the Freedom Barn. Pray for safety and productivity as Aaron and volunteers finish up the duct work for the third geothermal heater. Pray also that the warmth of God’s love might radiate from Emerald Hills to the farthest reaches of the world.

2006-01-23: Another work week at Emerald Hills has begun.
Today begins another work week in which much can be accomplished towards making Emerald Hills a prayer, retreat, and learning center which will optimize opportunities to worship and glorify God. As work on the Freedom Barn nears completion, planning is in progress for the Prayer Pavilion. Pray that God will provide funding, volunteers, energy, and dedication to complete these projects and the others that will come after them.

2006-01-22: Worship at Emerald Hills
Please pray with us today that every aspect of Emerald Hills will result in worship and adoration of God. He is the Creator of this beautiful place — not only of its green rolling hills, trees, and birds, but also of its purpose as a prayer, retreat, and learning center dedicated to the salvation of the nations. Pray that God may be worshipped as volunteers continue to develop this center. Pray that God will be worshipped in every prayer offered for and at this place. Pray that God will be worshipped at every retreat. Pray that God will be worshipped as missionary candidates, church mission teams, and others learn how to get the Gospel out to the whole world. "We praise You, Wonderful and Mighty God, Creator of the universe. In the Name of Jesus, Amen."

2006-01-21: Thank You, God, for Julie Cheatum.
Thank You, God, for Julie Cheatum and the hours she spends in front of her computer punching in numbers and keeping track of data for the Emerald Hills project. Thank you for bringing Julie to Team Expansion for such a time as this. Help her, especially the rest of this month, as she finishes up financial reports for missionaries and issues W-2 forms. Give her some uninterrupted, quiet time to do what needs to be done. Give her strength and endurance to get the job done, and give her joy in knowing that Your Kingdom is being advanced. Thank You, God, for Aaron Johnson, the Associate Director of Operations at Team Expansion. Thank you for putting Aaron in this position for such a time as this. Thank You for the hours and hours of labor he puts in at Emerald Hills. Thank You for the love that you demonstrate through him as he gives his life as a living sacrifice in service for the Kingdom. Pray that people who read the Visionary will catch the dreams and hopes of Emerald Hills. Pray that they will see Emerald Hills as a prayer, retreat, and learning center that can be used effectively to get the Gospel out to millions of unreached people. Pray that God will inspire each reader with a vision as to how he or she can be involved in order to make this dream happen and to fulfill the hopes for those waiting in darkness.
