Praise God for His faithfulness to answer prayer. Workers have planned and are now implementing summer outreaches to share the Good News of Jesus with people of several different nationalities. Pray for outreaches such as English conversations to draw many people to Christ as they learn to speak English using the Bible as teaching material. And remember to praise God as He faithfully increases His church.
2016-07-06: Celebrate and Give Thanks to God.
Celebrate and give thanks to God for 12 people who confessed Jesus with their mouths and obeyed Him through baptism in a Southeast Asian country. They were from Cambodia, New Zealand, the UK, Kenya, the US, and the Philippines. Pray for these believers as they continue to grow in faith and hope and love.
2016-07-05: Romanian Christians.
Pray that God would build up other like-minded, Romanian Christians who would want to join in planting Biblically based churches and making disciples who are obedient to Christ.
2016-07-04: Praise God.
Praise God that He does not leave us as orphans. He sends His Spirit to dwell in and among us. Workers in Romania are the physical hands and feet of this Comforter to Romanian orphans. Pray for Christ’s Spirit to be demonstrated through workers and draw vulnerable children into a saving relationship with Him.
2016-07-03: Southeast Asia.
A worker in Southeast Asia is teaching several TD university students English in his home. One evening, a student picked up the worker’s Bible in the local language, sat down and began to read. Later he asked that worker, “Can I borrow your Bible? I don’t want to follow a religious way, but I think the Bible will have many good things to help my life.” Pray for deep hunger in this TD student and to be satisfied by the Bread of Life and Living Word of God.
2016-07-02: Sports and English Camp in Taiwan.
Pray for the hearts and minds of the youth and faculty taking part in Sports and English Camp these next two weeks in Taiwan. Pray for many young lives to be changed.
2016-07-01: Two Billion People.
Two billion people around the world are waiting to hear the name of Jesus. These unreached people have never experienced God’s love in their own languages. Pray for workers to serve as storytellers, Bible translators, and disciple makers among unreached peoples.
2016-06-30: Prophets.
“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign LORD who bought them – bringing swift destruction on themselves” (2 Peter 2:1). Pray that God would prove to the 30 million Sikhs in the world that all other religions and philosophies are false and only His Word is Truth.
2016-06-27: Scores of People.
Praise God for drawing scores of people out of Islam to Himself. Pray for deep intimacy for the believers who are losing family and home as they follow Jesus.
2016-06-27: Building a Relationship.
While celebrating the Persian New Year (Noroz) with about 40 Afghan and Iranian refugees (mostly Muslims), a worker in Italy was asked to pray before the meal. Praise God for opening the door to build relationships and to connect with an Iranian believer interested in studying the Bible.
