1206-12-24: Isaiah 9:6.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

Praise God for active PACE projects among the unreached peoples of the world. Ask God to raise up more partnering churches to come alongside Team Expansion in PACE projects for the very reason of introducing the Prince of Peace to people who have never heard the Good News of His birth.

2016-12-23: Oasis.

“Oasis” is a pseudonym for a region in Africa that is spiritually dry. Pray for more full time workers to go, full time intercessors to pray, and full time partners to sustain the work among the people of “Oasis”.

2016-12-22: Testimony.

A testimony can be a powerful thing. The Bible tells us that the church was built on the testimonies of the believers. One such testimony is that of Nabeel Qureshi. He wrote “Seeking Allah Finding Jesus”. It hit #9 on the New York Times bestseller list for ebooks in September. The testimony of Nabeel is such a powerful tool in the lives of Muslim seekers. After a string of challenges, the book has been published by a Bosnian publishing house and distributed in local bookstores and into neighboring countries. Praise God 80 copies sold in the first month without advertisement. Pray that more books would sell so fast that a second printing is in high demand.

2016-12-21: Gateway.

Jesus said, “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved” (John 10:9a). “Gateway” is a pseudonym used for a region in Asia where workers are serving. Pray that many people in “Gateway” would hear the way of salvation and enter the gate to eternal life with Jesus.

2016-12-20: Matthew 1:23.

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel – which means God with us” (Matt 1:23). Today’s prayer focus is what one harvest worker there calls the Kingdom of Wonder. Pray for university students to fall in love with Jesus Immanuel and desire to give their lives to Him. Pray that the Holy Spirit empowers them to follow the paths of Jesus.

2016-12-19: Give Thanks!

Give thanks for opportunities that God provides for workers to show love to refugees and to share the Gospel with them. Pray that the Holy Spirit would touch hearts of refugees to receive the Good News with joy and obedience to Jesus’s call.

2016-12-17: Arab Muslims.

There are over 30K Arab Muslims living in Michigan, and there are few workers in the field to reach them. Ask God to prepare workers and a partnering network of churches to share the message of Hope with Arabs.

2016-12-16: Turkey.

In much of the Muslim world, including parts of Turkey, poverty and illiteracy are widespread. This is not the norm in the city where a team of harvest workers serves. Most people have access to basic education, and many attend colleges and universities. The main obstacle in this field is miseducation and misunderstanding, if not outright deception and propaganda. Pray for those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. Pray that misconceptions are overcome so Truth is boldly proclaimed.

2016-12-14: Praise God for Partnerships.

Praise God for partnerships among Cuban leaders and house churches to do fruitful outreach. Praise God for 340 baptisms! Praise God that a team of Venezuelan pastors can begin offering training in the simple principles of disciple making movements in Feb 2017. One group of Cuban churches has 100 workers they are wanting to send and they are hoping to do so in partnership with Team Expansion. Praise God!

2016-12-13: Zechariah.

Zechariah sang and prophesied about his newborn son John. Let’s use the words to his song in praying for workers in the Ancash region of Peru. Like John, let us ask God to raise up workers for Ancash to prepare the way for the Lord Jesus, to give people knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of sins (Luke 1:76-77).
