2017-02-16: Love Each Other.

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” (John 15:12) There are Team Expansion workers who have been doing abundant seed sowing for many unproductive years. Pray that 2017 would be a year that these fields would gain traction in difficult areas and a disciple making movement would take root.

2017-02-15: Remain in My Love.

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.” (John 15:9)

One of Team Expansion’s Field Coordinator has reported over 600 baptisms in Ghana! Praise God for this disciple making movement. Pray for new believers to be deeply rooted and established in the Father’s love, and for the momentum of disciple making to increase.

2017-02-14: DMMs.

“And he has given us this command: whoever loves God must also love his brother.” (1 John 4:21) Team Expansion is all about disciple making movements because we love our brother who may not know about God’s loving gift to the world.

2017-02-13: Praise God for Workers in Sensitive Fields.

“If anyone says, “I love God”, yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.”  (1 John 4:20)

Praise God for the Team Expansion workers serving in sensitive fields where Islam, Buddhism, or Hinduism have strongholds. Pray that these workers endure and their love for God and people is evident. Pray that Jesus would reveal Himself and His love would conquer.

2017-02-12: We Love Because He First Loved Us.

“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19). One of Team Expansion’s goal is to engage the global church and one way of doing that is through PACE program and projects. Praise God for PACE lead churches who have love overflowing for unreached peoples and are determined to take the message to them. Praise God for PACE commitment has not wavered through many years, many changes of various church staff and members. Pray for more churches to commit to PACE with a passion for the unreached.

2017-02-11: There Is No Fear in Love.

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear; because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18) Praise God for allowing Team Expansion workers to be safe and endure persecution. God has given workers wisdom in situations because God is the great protector. Pray that those under persecution would be fearless and bold in their witness for Jesus Christ.

2017-02-10: Love Is Made Complete Among Us.

“In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.” (1 John 4:17) This is an IT world we live in. Team Expansion is striving to utilize technology in the best way to communicate God’s love to people with no access to the Gospel. Praise God for social media, websites, satellite TV, and radio with Christian content and programming that is impacting those seeking Truth. Pray for masses to receive the Gospel, to be obedient to Jesus, and be made complete in His love.

2017-02-09: And So We Know and Rely on the Love God Has for Us.

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” (1 John 4:16) As disciple makers and church planters, Team Expansion wants to share God’s love with the nations. Praise God for the tool of the Kairos course being used among both local and global churches. Celebrate how God has moved Kairos into its next phase with Simply Mobilizing to expand: a) new resources to impact with worldview a broader range of churches by equipping mobilizers in USA and b) new translations and interfacing with Spanish and Korean.

2017-02-08: If Anyone Acknowledges That Jesus is the Son of God.

“If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.” (1 John 4:15) The year 2016 was one of transitions for Team Expansion. Some missionary families are transitioning back into American culture after serving years in an adopted country. One servant in Ghana fell ill and went to his eternal home. New workers were trained and sent out. With high expectations, Team Expansion is trusting God and praising Him for leading through changes and for raising up new Field Coordinators, a new Mobilization Director, and a new Missionary Kid Coordinator.

Since a mission organization has such fluidity, pray that Team Expansion exhibits 1 John 4:15 and continues making impact among unreached peoples.

2017-02-06: No One Has Ever Seen God.

“No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” (1 John 4:12) Praise God that His love makes us whole.  Pray that Team Expansion workers are identified as the hands and feet of Jesus to people who are in need of His love and completeness.
