“A new command I give: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35)

A part of showing love to one another is communicating with one another. Pray for more presence on social media, more giving avenues, new team members so that men know that Jesus is our leader and that all men may know who He is.

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” (1 John 3:1) Pray for open doors as Team Expansion seeks to share the Gospel message and launch movements to Christ in places that have not heard it yet. Pray that those who appear to be enemies of Christianity would come to know the true Savior of the World.

“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” (Titus 3:4-5) Praise God for the amazing impact that Team Expansion and her partners have had in 2016! Ask God to direct as we seek to further His Kingdom in 2017. Join us in praying for 300+ new churches, 1700+ new baptisms, and increasingly total church attendance.

“Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” (John 14:23) Celebrate the hard work of the PACE Project Specialist to get plugged into PACE coordinators and building relationship between them and Team Expansion. Pray that, with God’s Spirit, PACE is equipping for more fruit, creating a seed bed of harvest workers, and identifying common characteristics that are working well. Pray by God’s Spirit, more unreached are reached with the Gospel and will have a home in Christ..

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” (John 14:21) A component of Team Expansion’s training is through the Discipleship School of the Outdoors (DSOTO). There are rules and regulations that must be complied to in order to enjoy the high ropes course and other DSOTO elements safely and securely. We praise God that 2016 was a big year for DSOTO in numbers of people and teams participating. Give thanks for a new Gator and completion of the building of the full high ropes course. DSOTO builds cohesiveness among teams and helps to highlight skill sets. Pray that teams preparing for field and already on field will develop an attitude of love and appreciation for one another so that the Father’s love is made known among the nations.

Praise God for drawing people of Muslim background to love and obey Jesus…so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. Pray that these new believers are rooted and established in love, that they may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – and be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God (Eph 3:17-19).

“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.” (2 Cor 5:14) Team Expansion is compelled to reach the unreached with the Good News of Jesus. Christ’s love compels us to pray extraordinarily, to engage and mobilize, to coach and train, to excel and build capacity. Praise God for His compelling love, and pray that Team Expansion continues to move forward in effectiveness for His Kingdom.

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” (Galatians 5:6) Jesus values faith that expresses itself through love. Praise God for the Team Expansion family dotting the globe making their statements of faith in loving ways. Pray for lasting fruit among the orphans of Philippines, Romania, and Taiwan, among the Syrian refugees, among the Chinese Diaspora, among those who have disabilities in Africa, among the barrios of South America, among universities and high schools in Europe, and among elementary students in North Africa and West Africa.

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

Many Team Expansion families put their lives at risk for the spread of the Gospel. Give thanks for these committed workers. Ask God to reign in their hearts as they love and serve in His name.
