Pray that all of the prayer and mission leaders who are attending would deeply connect with the Lord and with one another and experience the reviving work of the Holy Spirit in this historic place of prayer, revival, and mission.
2017-05-08: Linking Prayer and Missions.
Team Expansion’s Prayer Coordinator is attending an international conference on prayer and mission in Herrnhut, Germany this week. Praise God for an invitation to attend the Linking Prayer and Missions Conference May 8-12. Pray for safety in travel and lots of learning at the conference.
2017-05-07: Partnering Churches.
Team Expansion has many partnering churches in the Gospel, both locally and globally, with whom we have shared our vision of 24 Disciple Making Movements among the unreached by 2024. Some of these partnering churches are implementing new paradigms of ministry. Jesus said that you can’t put new wine into old wineskins. It is hard to get people to accept new paradigms of ministry that are actually more biblical than traditional paradigms of ministry. Ask God to create “new wineskins” in the hearts of long-time believers in the West and all around the world.
2017-05-06: Media Ministry.
As Team Expansion workers in Taiwan have created new videos for media ministry, we have been praying for God to provide local partners to help with the development of this huge project. Ask God to lead in building partnership between this team and Create International Taiwan School of Cartooning and Animation for Missions. If this is a partnership that could help this team work together with local Taiwan artists to create discipleship tools and resources, would you pray that God would make that very clear and enable partners to dream big for His Kingdom?
2017-05-05: Venezuela.
While life is terribly difficult for the Venezuelans, God continues to provide resources and strength for those still living in the country. Against incredible odds, God’s work continues to spread. For 10 years now, a Team Expansion missionary and her partners have been working on a project to translate the Bible for the Warao Indians, who live deep in the jungle of the Orinoco River basin. Praise God that progress continues in translation, and a local team is being trained to help in this process. Pray for our brothers and sisters who share in the heavenly calling (Hebrews 3:1).
2017-05-04: National Day of prayer.
Many Christians are unaware that we live in a country that has a law in place requiring our President to proclaim a National Day of Prayer each year on the first Thursday of May. People of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups and as individuals. Today let us partner together in requests, prayer, intercession, and thanksgiving being made for everyone – kings and those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness (1 Timothy 2:1-2). The theme this year is For Your Great Name’s Sake! Hear Us…Forgive Us…Heal Us (Daniel 9:19). www.nationaldayofprayer.org

Celebrate how God developed partnerships between loyal yokefellows in 3 different countries who have contended in the cause of the gospel (Philippians 4:3).Want to see and hear the first full Bible translated by a Team Expansion worker? In conjunction with Pioneer Bible Translators and the Institute for Bible Translation in Russia for this 16 year project, many Crimean Tatar have the Word of God in their own language. 2017-05-01: I Always Pray with Joy.
“In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:4-6). This month of May Team Expansion general requests will focus on partnerships. This may include translation projects, Community Health Evangelism, media broadcasts, PACE projects, as well as prayer and financial partners. Give thanks and praise God for partnerships in the Gospel to further His Kingdom on earth.
2017-04-29: Unleashed for the Unreached.
Through a prayer initiative called Unleashed for the Unreached (U4theU.com), praise God the global church is more engaged in prayer for the nations. Pray that God uses Team Expansion as we seek to facilitate and carry out this unique and broad-based prayer initiative that will unleash individuals, churches, and groups to pray for the unreached peoples of the world.
2017-04-28: Trainers and Trainees.
Praise God for trainers and trainees of Jonathan Training Module as they increase their competence and confidence of implementing the fruitful disciple making movement principles, tools, and skills. Pray for the teeming millions who will be impacted by their faithful obedience.
