Give thanks for Team Expansion workers and their families who attended the Connect Gathering in June. Thank God for good health, safety, cooperative spirits for children, Christ-like attitudes, and family time was bonding and uplifting.
2017-06-08: Praise God!
Praise God for supplying all that is needed for the Connect Gathering regional retreat in June. Give thanks for financial sponsors, for presenters, and for volunteer teachers for the youth program. Pray for coaches, trainers, missionary kid care givers, and volunteers to be filled with the Holy Spirit to serve well.
2017-06-07: Regional Gatherings.
In order for our missionaries to reach out to others in foreign lands, Team Expansion reaches out to her own missionaries at regional gatherings. In order for our workers to be successful, Team Expansion provides excellent training as well as time to retreat or reorient. Pray for workers to be refreshed and renewed through these gatherings.
2017-06-06: Connect Gathering.
Praise God for the second annual Connect Gathering scheduled this week for Team Expansion workers and their families. Praise God for sponsoring churches, individuals, volunteers, and a guest speaker to enrich the lives of these faithful servants. Pray that all who attend are encouraged and inspired through the Holy Spirit through fellowship with God and co-laborers for the Kingdom.
2017-06-05: Give Praise to God.
Give praise to God for the second regional retreat for Team Expansion workers. Pray for all involved to have safe journeys and to arrive with fresh perspective and rested minds and bodies for the duration.
2027-06-04: Global Day of Prayer.
June 4 is the Global Day of Prayer. Believers in many countries of the world will lift expectant praise and desperate prayer with one voice in stadiums, open fields, community centers, private homes and even secret places. Pray that these prayers have the power to transform our world and fill the nations with the glory of God. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God.” (Habakkuk 2:14).
2017-06-03: Team Expansion Workers.
Team Expansion workers take advantage of doing outreach and continue to labor for the Lord year round. Give thanks for their perseverance in abundant seed sowing. Pray that through their efforts, teams would see planted 500 churches this year, would see 2100 baptisms, and grow the mission wide church attendance to 27,000.
2017-06-02: According to God’s Will and Spirit.
According to God’s will and Spirit, Team Expansion’s main overarching goal is to see 24 disciple-making movements ignited among unreached people groups by the year 2024. Praise God for this extraordinary vision, and pray that God creates environments for this lofty goal to become real and lasting.
2017-06-01: The Month of June.
The month of June promises to be one of outreach and more training. By now Pathways summer interns have arrived for cross-cultural outreach, and veteran teams are geared up to conduct VBS, English and Sports camps, or taking advantage of summer season to plant Gospel seeds and cultivate more disciples. Praise God for going before and behind to make outreach and training effective in making disciples that are obedient to Christ. Pray that these outreach programs produce new disciples, and that training events mobilize His global church.
2017-05-31: It Is Not Good for Man to Be Alone.
“The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” (Genesis 2:18) Praise God for ordaining marriage between man and woman and then drawing those couples together. For some missionaries, their marriage partnership is intercultural. God may provide the American man with a wife from Laos. Or the American wife may have a husband from Sri Lanka. Pray for the marriages of cross-cultural workers. Ask God to give strength, grace, and unity as couples serve in difficult settings.
