2017-08-17: Ephesians 6:18.

Ephesians 6:18 says, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Pray the TCKs learn to turn everything over to God first in prayer, whether praises or requests, so that God becomes their source of strength every moment of every day.

2017-08-16: Full of Gratitude.

Pray that Third Culture Kids are full of gratitude, no matter the circumstances. Pray that TCKs live lives that are always overflowing with thankfulness and always giving thanks to God for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 5:20, Col 2:17).

2017-08-15: Trust God.

Pray that Third Culture Kids trust God when they are afraid and courage is needed. Psalm 56:3-4 says, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise – in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Children hear stories of violence, kidnappings, etc. around the world, in their neighboring countries, and sometimes in the country where they live. Pray for the parents as they try to help their children understand the news and also from any harm as they teach them how to trust God.

2017-08-12: TCKs.

Pray that Team Expansion TCKs will learn to remain hopeful in all situations, knowing God can and will offer His help whenever they ask (Hebrews 11:1). Pray for their parents to be Christ-like role models of this hope we have in Him.

2017-08-10: Prayer as a Strategy.

Team Expansion workers use prayer as a strategy to gain momentum among the people group with whom they are serving. Prayerfulness is an excellent virtue to practice involving the whole family. Ask God to teach TCKs to come confidently with their prayer requests, knowing that God is always there for them, answering every prayer according to His will (1 John 5:14-15)
