"Lord God Almighty,

You are Holy, Holy, Holy!!!  You are Totally Amazing.  You are Wonderful.  You are the Master, our Master, our Lord and Master.  You are the Great Teacher and the Great Physician, the Great Shepherd and the Bishop and Shepherd of our souls. All glory belongs to You.

Yesterday was so impacting, so powerful.  Thank You for allowing me to be a part of Candidate Lab.  Thank You for allowing me to sit with seven missionary candidates and discuss with them prayer team development as part of their training before they depart for their mission fields.  Thank You for Heather, Greg, Matt, Chris, Cerena, Russell, and Shannon.  Prepare them for the fields to which they are headed, and prepare the fields for their coming.

This is what the World Harvest Center is about — training missionaries so that they can reach the unreached.  I know, Father, that You are raising up more workers like these seven.  Please raise up an adequate, even an optimal, place to train them as well. Build the World Harvest Center through Your people.

Seeing eight missionary candidates gathered yesterday in the International Services office to engage in vital training for their work in various fields was a reminder of what an asset the World Harvest Center at Emerald Hills will be in the area of education.  Team Expansion is currently training candidates in a very small space!  The candidate labs are growing larger and larger all the time.  Pray that ground for the World Harvest Center might be broken soon.  Pray for the center’s completion by the end of this year.  God can do amazing things!!

Pray that Brigada Today, a weekly e-mail journal for missions networking, will continue to impact the world for the cause of the Great Commission.  Brigada is another entity that will be housed in the World Harvest Center at Emerald Hills.  Continue to petition God for all that is needed to see this center completed.

"Thank You, God, for CrossRoads Missions and the vital work they are doing for your Kingdom and for humanity.  Thank You for the tremendous work they have done in recent months with relief efforts for hurricane victims.  Thank You for their partnership with Team Expansion.  Father, it is good to share our office space with them at International Services.  We are looking forward to sharing space with them at Emerald Hills as well.  Thank You for providing funds through them to complete the recent projects at the Freedom Barn — the tool crib and the commercial storage area.  Bless the continuing partnership between Team Expansion and CrossRoads Missions for Your glory.

"Dear Father,

Today Candidate Lab is being conducted at the International Services office on Hopewell Road.  Eight new missionary candidates are gathering in our already jam-packed office spaces to be trained in areas that are vital to their work.  At least it’s going to be cozy!  But it also makes us think about those 61 acres of land at Emerald Hills dedicated to the purposes of training and educating workers for the Harvest.  We look forward to the day when Candidate Lab can be conducted in an optimal setting like the one being planned at Emerald Hills.  We just ask, Father, that You will provide the funds, the volunteers, the stamina, the perseverance, and whatever else it takes to make the dream of the World Harvest Center a reality.

"O God, when we think of Emerald Hills, we think of Your work.  Thank You, Father, for this land that has been set aside for the training of new missionaries, for strategic prayer, and for planning for the effective proclamation of the Gospel.  May Emerald Hills always be used for such purposes.

"Once again, we thank You, God, for volunteers like those who came down from Indian Creek yesterday.  Thank You for the work that was accomplished — for the tool crib and the storage shelving.  Thank You for the men who gave up their Saturday for these tasks.  Keep such people coming!

Pray for the plans being made for Dedication Day for the Freedom Barn on February 18.  Pray for those who will be participating in the service as well as for those who will be attending.  Thank God for the furnaces that are working to warm the building.

Praise God that 80% of the work on the Freedom Barn has been accomplished!  Pray that the remaining plans might come together in God’s timing so that the Barn may be used for God’s glory in events scheduled for the coming months and year.

Pray for wisdom and insight concerning preparations for the gound-breaking of the World Harvest Center at Emerald HIlls.  Ask God for the funding that will make this building which will house Team Expansion’s prayer, retreat, and learning center a reality.
