Prayer, Retreat and Learning Center
This morning, Jade and Kim Kendall, Team Expansion workers in the inner city of Cincinnati, are mourning their child, Eliana Grace, who was delivered last night with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. Pray for healing and comfort for their hearts.
Pray for a place for workers to retreat at Emerald Hills in such times as this.
Pray for a sense of urgency to get the Gospel to the nations. Ask God to instill an urgency for finishing the tasks at Emerald Hills as it will play such an important role in sending and sustaining those who will GO and those who will PRAY until all nations are reached.

The job before us at Emerald Hills is HUGE! Pray that we will lean on God’s strength and His provision to see the work accomplished. May God be glorified!

Thank God for the vision of Fern Creek Christian Church in providing the funds necessary to construct the Prayer Pavilion on Emerald Hills property. Pray that work on the Pavilion might begin soon and that it may be completed by May 31 in time for Pre-Field Orientation for summer interns. May God be glorified through it all!

Today is the dedication of the Freedom Barn, the first structure to be erected at Emerald Hills. Praise God for this building and the far-reaching indications it has! I mean far-reaching — like to the NATIONS!! Thank God that this is just the beginning of the prayer, retreat, and learning center that is envisioned at Emerald Hills. Pray that the dedication services may go well and that God will be glorified.

For the first time ever, three furnaces are running at the Freedom Barn!! Thank God for Rob Minton (Crossroads Missions) and Ed Carter (an Emerald Hills neighbor on Old Routt Road who just happens to be a furnace repairman) who worked three hours straight to track down a leak in furnace #3. All this happened just in the nick of time to provide more than adequate heat for the Leadership Task Force meeting at the Barn today. Thank You, God.

Fern Creek Christian Church has made a huge commitment to insure that Emerald Hills has a Prayer Pavilion. Thank God for their vision for this strategic structure! Thank God for their financial commitment as well as their willingness to volunteer in the construction of this edifice which will be used to edify.
