Praise the Lord of the Harvest for sending new workers into the harvest fields. Pray for participants in the Launch program March 5-16 at Emerald Hills to be able to concentrate fully on learning Team Expansion vision and protocols. Ask God to supply ministry partners for these new workers that will undergird them in prayer and resources.
2018-03-04: Serving with an Earnest Heart.
CJ, 70 years old, came to the Lord in 1990. He served Him with an earnest heart since then, and devoted his life to evangelizing. As a result, he was frequently under arrest, put into classes of ideology, beaten severely, and fined. He was arrested again in June 2001, and was sentenced to four years in prison under the charge of “establishing and using a cult organization to disturb the execution of the law”. He was preaching the Gospel to the inmates (over 50 of them were willing to receive the Lord into their heart as their Savior). An inmate turned him in. As it turned out, over ten policemen dragged him out, and gave him a brutal beating. Not an inch of his body stayed intact. They spoke to him while kicking him in the belly, “The Communist Party loses face because of you! We might as well kill you here.” C says “It’s worth the beating; I have preached to over 50 people! It’s well worth it.” Again and again CJ urged his daughter to be a devoted believer, to receive other believers in her house, and asked her to pray for him with other brothers and sisters. Also, he sent a word to everybody, that the Lord was with him, and that they didn’t have to worry about him. Pray for CJ to endure and impact inmates in the Name of Jesus Christ.
2018-03-03: Communities Where Disciple Making Movements Have Occurred.
In communities where disciple making movements have occurred, the missionary and expatriate community have maintained a low profile. Pray that those serving in “Zephyr” would train local people to share the Gospel within their community. Pray that as they disciple new believers, the new believers would engage their communities for Christ
2018-03-02: Satan the Enemy.
Satan is our great enemy and he is prowling around seeking to devour many (1 Peter 5:8). One of Satan’s greatest tools that he uses against Christians is to silence them. Physical, spiritual, emotional, and social persecution is very high in Niger. If Satan scares those who are Christians to be silent, then he has won. Pray that even in the face of persecution Nigerièn Christians and missionaries would boldly proclaim the good news of Jesus and that many would know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
2018-03-01: Religion in Africa.
According to Operation World 7th edition, religion is vitally important in Africa – it is more significant than nationality or ethnicity in how Africans identify themselves. Religious freedom has increased over much of Africa in recent decades, but there are restrictions in North Africa and in some other Islamic majority countries. Persecution of varying intensity is present in a number of nations. Praise God for the freedom HE brings in Christ even in midst of persecution. Let’s pray that Africans find their identity in Jesus Christ and reflect their obedience and worship of Him in their own culture as God intended.
2018-02-28: Multiplying Zume.
Praise God for His favor on Zume Project and how He is multiplying this media tool. Pray that God would direct people to www.ZumeProject.com to start simple churches and make disciples who make more disciples, to bear fruit and impact the nations.
2018-02-27: God’s Patience and Loving Kindness.
Praise God for His patience and loving kindness that leads us to repentance. Pray that the American church would become engaged in the vision of seeing disciple making movements among unreached nations of the world. Perhaps through the tool of www.ZumeProject.com
2018-02-26: The Great Commission.
The Great Commission is found in Mt 28:18-20 “And JESUS came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to ME in heaven and on earth. GO therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Pray for God to be glorified by Zume through His disciples obeying His mandate.
2018-02-25: The Great Commandment.
The Great Commandment is found in Mt 22:37-38, “You shall love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment.” Pray that God is glorified in His disciples obeying the great commandment.
2018-02-24: As God Moves.
As God moves and multiplies Zume Project, a Geographic Coordinator could be used to track disciple making movements in the United States. Pray that God raises up the correct person in His timing and way to serve in this role.
