2006-04-08: Pray for Power.

"Almighty God, We come to You admitting that without You we can do nothing.  We are totally dependent on You and on Your power and on Your plans.  So, Father, we pray that Your plans would be our plans as we work to develop Emerald Hills.  Give us an abundant portion of Your grace and of Your power so that we might accomplish those plans.  May Your Name be glorified in all of it.  In the Powerful Name of Jesus, Amen."

2006-04-07: Pray for a Place of Peace.

"Father, Today we pray that Emerald Hills would be a place of peace — a place where people may come to pray away from the distractions of the world, a place where people might learn in solitude and quietness, a place where people may retreat and gain refreshment for their bodies and souls, a place where You may be glorified.

In the Name of the Prince of Peace, Your Son Jesus Christ, Amen."

2006-04-05: Teach Us to Pray as Jesus Prayed.

"Father, This morning I am asking that Emerald Hills might be a place where people learn to pray as Jesus prayed.  May we learn to pray even as Jesus taught His disciples to pray.  May we learn to pray for unity among the brothers.  May we learn to weep in prayer for the lost.  May we learn to agonize over Your will in prayer, to sweat through the earnestness of our prayers.  May Emerald Hills be a place of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus, Amen."
