"Thank you, Father, for the beautiful day of sunshine yesterday as the group from Madison, Tennessee, worked in the cold temperatures to construct the EASI prayer shelter. Thank you for cheerful spirits, warm hearts, and hard workers. Thank you for good fellowship and productive time spent in prayer for the missionaries that the church at Madison supports. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen."
2007-02-10: It’s Cold Outside!
If you are old enough, you might remember a song entitled, "Baby, It's Cold Outside". That might be exactly how the group from Madison, Tennessee, (see yesterday's prayer request) is feeling right now as they begin work on the EASI prayer shelter in this frigid (I know it was 13 degrees at 6:00 a.m.) weather. Pray for warm hearts as they work. Ask God for safety from injuries, good attitudes despite the temperature, and efficiency so that they will finish as quickly as possible.
"Thank You, Father, for this group of hardy workers from Madison, Tennessee. Thank you that they have caught the vision of reaching the unreached with the Gospel with prayer as a crucial strategy. Thank you for their willingness to complete the task of building the prayer shelter, even in this very cold, cold weather. Thank you that the sun is shining and the wind is not blowing. Could you keep it that way for the day, please? Father, I also ask for an outstanding experience as they pray for the missionaries the church at Madison supports. Thank You for Your Love that compels them to work and to pray. In the Name of Jesus, Amen."
2007-02-09: EASI Prayer Shelter.
Pray for Ryan Stapleton, Jerry Luna, Kate Bussell, Whitney Bischoff, and Jarret and Kali Shadday as they travel from Madison, Tennessee, this evening to prepare for work on the EASI prayer shelter tomorrow at Emerald Hills. They will arrive around midnight, sleep in the Freedom Barn, rise early in the morning, and begin work before 8:00 a.m. They will be joined by Tim and Daphne Stapleton, former minister and minister's wife at Madison Christian Church, now working at Team Expansion. Pray for safe travel tonight and good weather tomorrow as the crew works in the cold to build the prayer shelter.
Pray for Joe Merlo, founder and president of EASI Corporation. He is undergoing surgery on his toe joint today.
