Praise God for the North American Christian Convention, a gathering of Christians for worship, preaching, teaching, fellowship, and networking. Pray that the church in North America would focus on the importance they play in ministering to missionaries. Ask God to show you what He wants your church to be doing in partnerships with your cross-cultural workers.
2018-06-26: Muslim People Groups.
Did you know that there are still Muslim people groups that have NO Christ-followers among them, not even ONE book of the Bible in their language, and NO one to bring the Gospel to them? The Tregami (Afghanistan) live in the northeast mountains of Nuristan. Communication is difficult, roads almost unusable and they distrust outsiders. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to send workers to the Tregami to reach them with the Gospel.
2018-06-25: North American Christian Convention.
The theme for the North American Christian Convention in Indianapolis this year is: “This Changes Everything.” Pray for main sessions to be focused on the life-changing Gospel. Pray that supersessions, special events, Bible studies, and leadership huddles would inspire and challenge pastors and church leaders to persevere in proclaiming the Gospel across North America. Pray the NACC will be instrumental in making disciples of all nations.
2018-06-24: Bangladesh.
Bangladesh has about 162 million people in the most densely populated country on the planet. Around 90% belong to Islam, 9% Hindu, then the Christians come about 0.5%. Pray that the small Christian communities in Bangladesh will give courageous witness. Pray that Bengali Christians will be mediators of forgiveness to others. Christ has given us a ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
2018-06-23: God’s Spirit.
Pray for God’s Spirit to open the eyes of Sudanese Muslim/animists to see Him in miracles, visions, dreams and the Gospel (Injil) and put their trust in Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2018-06-22: Imams.
Today, imams are preparing to give their sermons after Friday prayers. Pray that Islamic spiritual leaders who influence their society have their eyes open to the Truth. Pray there will be a spiritual awakening of secular and religious Muslims in the mosques of Central Asia.
2018-06-21: Pray for the Druze.
Pray the Druze in the Middle East to know that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, the Messiah, the Savior.
2018-06-20: Guinea.
Guinea is located on the coast of West Africa with its approximately 10 million inhabitants. It is home to some 40 ethnic groups who were Islamized during their history. Guinea may be rich in mineral resources, but one of the poorest countries in the world. Pray that local believers are empowered to be witnesses of God’s love in word and deed to their Muslim neighbors.
2018-06-19: A Discontent with Islam.
Ask God to create a discontent with Islam in Syria and lead Muslims to question their increased religious knowledge. Pray the Syrian Christians will place their hope firmly in God instead of in government. Pray for an end to strife and violence, a just government and a strong Christ-like witness.
2018-06-18: Spiritual Breakthrough.
Pray that God brings a spiritual breakthrough in Turkmenistan so many men and women of Turkmen origin will be transformed by the Messiah. Pray for more workers, and that the few workers who are there can manage well until more help arrives. Pray for the revision of the New Testament to be completed in Turkmen and safely distributed to the people.
