Praise God for His promise to never leave nor forsake His children. In a city in a Muslim land, pray for Christian brothers and sisters that are suffering so greatly at the hands of evil men.
2015-09-25: Smyrna.
“Smyrna” is a city of 5 million people. Praise God for moving His Spirit among young men to prompt them to follow Jesus through American football and friendships with Team Expansion Christian coaches. Pray for a church planting movement to take root, with reproducing bodies of Turkish believers. Let us pray until it happens.
2015-09-24: The Body of Christ in Romania.
Praise God for the body of Christ in Romania. Ask the Lord to wake up the believers and challenge them to live in obedience to God’s Word.
2015-09-23: Many Prayers.
Many prayers have been prayed over the years about the government of Kosovo, from taxes on aid to corruption and radicalism. Please don’t stop praying – workers have some real encouragements on that front recently. Praise God that local government leaders have given personal thanks for the workers’ prayers and care for the people of Kosovo, in particular their community. Also an invitation came from the Speaker of Parliament to hear the church’s concerns about the state of things in Kosovo, especially related to Islamic radicalism. Give glory to God for these amazing breakthroughs.
2015-09-22: God Is Moving.
God is moving among the people of Italy. Praise God for how He is working both in the church and in Bible studies, filling believers with a burden to tell others about Jesus and how He is working in their lives. Pray that this new fire would not burn out but would intensify, drawing others to become disciples of Jesus.
2015-09-21: Opportunities to Show Christ’s Love.
Praise God that there are Team Expansion workers in direct contact with displaced peoples and refugee camps with opportunities to show Christ’s love and share the Gospel. Ask the Holy Spirit to prepare hearts to receive the Gospel message with gladness and be obedient to Christ’s call.
2015-09-20: Bible Translation Project.
Pray for continued protection over the Tatar Crimean Bible translation project, distribution, and those who read it to be made new and transformed by the Spirit through God’s Word.
2015-09-19: The Balkans.
In the Balkans there is a beautiful country blessed by God with many natural resources. Like so many places, the great majority of people are walking in darkness. Estimates of born again believers range from 500-800 in a country of 4 million people. Pray that the darkness will be pushed back so many more will be made able to see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:4).
2015-09-18: Japanese Believers.
Praise God for His faithfulness to the Japanese believers. Pray that our living LORD will continue to open hearts in the Japanese people.
2015-09-17: Simple Churches in the Philippines.
Praise God that our one team in the Philippines is very fruitful and has seen 28 simple churches started. Pray the momentum continues. Ask God to steer them through challenges of training and sending Filipinos to unreached peoples in Asia.
