It cannot be denied that the nations of the world are arriving at our doorstep. The chance to welcome them with the hands and feet of Jesus is a chance to change the world. Pray that US Christians would get involved, explore their community with open eyes and a prayerful heart, and see what God reveals. Pray for friendships to develop with those of other countries.
2016-01-26: New Training Program.
Praise God for the development and implementing of a new training program where participants live in Louisville for 8-12 months. While here, they will have a cross-cultural immersion experience that will train them to love their neighbors, make healthy disciples, and form simple, multiplying churches. Pray that D-Course will bring glory to God.
2016-01-25: Unreached People.
There are nearly 3 billion unreached people in our world. Team Expansion has a Quest program that pair participants with an experienced team of missionaries who will challenge & encourage them, while showing them the daily demand & rewards of missions. Ask God to inspire couples & individuals to fill out application profile for Quest apprenticeships through www.teamexpansion.org/quest
2016-01-24: Living Languages.
There are 7,106 living languages in the world today, but less than 600 of these have the full Bible. For our organizations, Pioneer Bible Translators and Team Expansion, translation of the Bible is not the goal in itself. The goal is for a language group to become changed by the power of the Word of God and to daily live in accordance with it. Ask God to strengthen our partnership between Pioneer Bible Translators and Team Expansion for the purpose of sharing the Gospel with people who haven’t yet heard.
2016-01-23: Potential Partnership.
Praise God for a potential partnership developing with another non-profit in San Diego. Ask God to orchestrate planning and implementation of programs and training Christians to share the Gospel with near neighbors and back in Africa to reach people groups there.
2016-01-21: Field Coordinators.
Pray that Field Coordinators might help the missionary families for whom they are responsible to be sensitive to God’s leading and intentional in following that guidance.
2016-01020: Bible Colleges and Universities.
Pray that God would bless relationships between Bible colleges/universities and Team Expansion and build connections to these schools for raising up more harvest workers for unreached people groups.
2016-01-19: God’s Sovereignty.
Ask God’s Sovereignty in planning and implementing regional “Connect” conference set to start in spring 2016. These conferences will rotate in various world regions so regardless of where our workers live, a conference will be near teams every 3rd year.
2016-01-18: New Year.
Give thanks for another NEW YEAR to serve our Lord and Savior. Pray that we know the Father’s thoughts as we prayerfully look toward stewarding 2016.
2017-01-17: Work Together.
Team Expansion needs your prayers in many ways. Pray that we can work together as a team and communicate well with each other. Pray that we as an organization will know the steps to take to make us the best organization and team we can be. Pray for wisdom.
