Pray for 24 Disciple Making Movements by 2024. Gor several years, Team Expansion has been asking God for 80 Biblical church planting movements among the unreached by the end of 2015. God answered by setting up the environments for 77 such movements among unreached people groups! A new goal is set to see 24 DMMs among unreached people groups by the end of 2024. Lift this goal up to the One who is more than able to accomplish it.
2016-03-06: 80 CPMs.
Since Team Expansion’s vision of 80 Church Planting Movements by 2015 wrapped up this year, we began asking God for what we should work toward in this next season. The result was a new Vision Statement: “24 disciple-making movements by 2024, or more simply referred to as 24 4x4s by 24”. We are defining a Disciple Making Movement (DMM) as being 4 streams that have grown to the 4th generation (4×4). A stream is essentially a relational network or series of links. A ‘generation’ is one link to another person. Pray for these 24 DMMs by the end of 2014.
2016-03-05: Professionals in Veterinaary Medicine.
Ask God to raise up professionals in veterinary medicine willing to give themselves to helping Mongolians mature in their walk with Jesus.
2016-03-04: New Testament in the TD Language.
Praise God for the progression in translation of the New Testament in the TD language. Pray for this project to be completed and that it would be used to get the Word of God into the hearts of many TD people and lead them to Jesus.
2016-03-03: Taiwan.
The work in Taiwan is overwhelming. Ministering in the 10/40 window, where the most unevangelized people on earth exist, the numbers break down to 1 missionary per 500,000 lost people. First of all, pray the Lord would raise up more full time workers to join in the work. Secondly, pray that short term teams would be willing to help just a little in the work. And then pray that more people would pray for the people of Taiwan and for the missionaries laboring to reach the lost.
2016-03-02: Multiplication of Churches.
A multiplication of churches happens when Christians from one body establish a new church and the believers in the new church go out and plant another generation of churches, usually of new believers with whom they have shared the Gospel. This reproduction continues until there are many generations of churches and entire regions or people groups are reached with the Gospel. Pray that this would happen among the 45+ fields in which Team Expansion workers are laboring.
2016-03-01: Safety of Our Field Workers and National Believers.
Join Team Expansion in praying for the safety of our field workers and national believers, some of whom are dealing with potential threats against their lives.
2016-02-29: Lord of the Harvest.
Give thanks to the Lord of the Harvest for raising up more workers. Thank God for the candidates who are attending Launch through March 12. Ask that this training enables new recruits to learn about Team Expansion and what is needed to get to the field to which God is calling them.
2016-02-28: Wisdom, Insight, and Discernment.
Pray that the Leadership Team at International Services might have wisdom, insight, and discernment to follow God’s steps and keep Team Expansion on task in reaching the unreached peoples of the world.
2016-02-27: Leadership Task Force Retreat.
Pray for plans for the Leadership Task Force retreat coming up in March. Every year the LTF comes to Louisville, KY for a weekend of worship and prayer, reviewing the past year, and looking forward to the future. Pray that the retreat is productive for the LTF and effective in reaching more people who haven’t heard the Gospel.
