Give thanks for God’s faithfulness to identify Pathways interns for this year. Pray that the Church will provide the encouragement, prayer, and financial resources they need for their trips this summer.
2016-05-21: Physical and Emotional Life.
Pray for each Team Expansion missionary family’s physical and emotional life. Pray for health and protection against illness and disease. Ask God to place a hedge of protection and atmosphere of peace around every worker’s home and family. Pray for safety, alertness, and protection while traveling. Pray for victory over loneliness, depression and discouragement.
2016-05-20: Vitality in Prayer Life.
Give thanks for Team Expansion harvest workers serving unreached peoples around the world. Pray for their vitality in prayer life and relationship with the Lord. Pray for a fresh empowering by the Holy Spirit and revelation from the Word of God. Pray for maturity and growth in grace, knowledge, and love of God. Pray for victory over Satan, the flesh, and the world.
2016-05-19: Day of Extraordinary Prayer and Fasting.
Pray that each month’s Day of Extraordinary Prayer and Fasting at Team Expansion will bring glory to God through worship and intercession.
2016-05-18: Language Acquisition.
Pray for the harvest workers in language acquisition. Pray for that missionary’s ability to communicate and continual improvement in fluency. Pray for greater cultural adaptation and understanding. Pray for insight into relevant redemptive analogies. Pray for victory over discouragement and communication barriers.
2016-05-17: God’s Help.
“I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth” Psalm 121:1, 2. Pray that the Lord would encourage every Team Expansion worker today and surround each one with His help.
2016-05-16: Leadership Team.
Leadership Team meeting takes place on most Mondays at 1:00 PM. Pray for spiritual wisdom and understanding for Leadership Team to lead Team Expansion on daily basis as well as from year to year.
2016-05-15: Discouragement.
Discouragement is a battle that all missionaries fight at one time or another. Discouragement comes to those whose support falters, whose plans don’t proceed as planned, when the harvest doesn’t seem equal to the seeds that are planted. Discouragement is one of Satan’s number one strategies in defeating missionaries. Pray against discouragement so that the saints do not give up.
2016-05-14: Faith.
Pray for the faith of Team Expansion workers serving around the globe. Ministry and support raising require faith! Leaving friends and family to venture to unknown regions also requires faith. Depending on God for daily needs requires faith. Waiting for ministry to happen requires faith. Raising a family in a foreign culture requires faith. Almost everything a missionary does for all of life requires faith. Pray that every Team Expansion missionary fights the good fight of the faith (1 Tim 6:12).
2016-05-13: Regional Retreat.
Give thanks to God for the opportunity to plan and stage the first ever Team Expansion regional retreat. To God be the glory! Pray that those who attended have returned to various regions of the world to build up the Kingdom for God’s glory.
