This month of November let us focus prayers on the worldwide persecuted church. Praise God for the role of the persecuted to spread the Good News of Jesus. Pray for deep intimacy for believers who are losing family and home as they follow Jesus.
2016-10-31: Pastoral Counseling Ministry.
Praise God that a worker in a Southeast Asian pastoral counseling ministry bears witness to emotional and spiritual healing in lives of his clients. He is meeting with both national and international workers, as well as with both Christians and non-Christians. Pray especially for meetings with non-Christians, that this worker may teach and show Christ’s love even when clients say they don’t want to talk about spiritual things. Pray for them to meet Jesus on their journeys.
2016-10-30: Local Leadership.
Every church multiplication movement in history has had local leadership. Ask God to raise up multitudes of local leaders for His church throughout Ecuador and Peru and all the other places where Team Expansion missionaries labor for the Lord.
2016-10-29: Workers in Ecuador.
Workers in Ecuador stared an education program to help kids in the barrio stay in school and be successful in their studies. God is blessing their program, and He is working in changing children’s lives. A 15 year old boy had always been a poor student with a bad attitude. Since participating in the program, he enjoys going to school, his grades are up, and he has astonished his teachers. Other parents have observed the change in this boy and are encouraging their children to join the education center. Praise God!
2016-10-28: Huichol.
In 2012, a small team went to survey a remote people called the Huichol in the central mountain range of Mexico. At that time, there were no evangelical missionaries living or working among them. Praise God that 4 years later, 2 families are living among the Huichol. One of the many ways they serve include Bible studies with the children. Praise God that these families are being Light and sharing Christ with the Huichol people every day. Pray that the Huichol will come to know and follow Jesus as Lord and Savior.
2016-10-27: Workers Around the World.
Pray for workers around the world who are risking their lives for the sake of the Gospel. Pray for those all over the world who are doing their part for the sake of the Kingdom. Ask God for more workers for the harvest and for 24 disciple-making movements by 2024.
2016-10-26: Those Trained in DMM and CPM.
Praise God for those who have been trained in disciple-making and church planting, for those who have been oriented to Team Expansion and learned lots about prayer teams, security, and support raising, and for those who are learning to see the world through God’s eyes and continuing to learn how to facilitate the Kairos training.
2016-10-25: Development and Implementation of D-Course
Praise God for the development and implementation of the D-Course in which participants live in Louisville for several months in a cross-cultural immersion experience that will train them to love their neighbors, make healthy disciples, and form simple, multiplying churches. Ask God to bring the right people for the next session which starts in January.
2026-10-24: Kairos Facilitator Training.
Kairos Facilitator Training occurs these next two days. Praise God for how He uses this course to mobilize His people in regions of the United States that can have an impact around the world. Ask God for more growth and effectiveness because of those being trained as facilitators.
2016-10-23: Outreach Ideas and Strategies.
Pray for outreach ideas and strategies among Christian business men and women which give opportunities to represent Christ among unreached people.
