Praise God for His global harvest workers who, like Abraham, have left homes and extended families to follow God’s call. Pray for missionaries and their extended families they have left behind, as the holidays are an especially difficult time to be separated by continents.

Hebrews 12:3 says, “Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Pray that workers in South Asia will overcome any discouragement or weariness in their ministry. Ask God to grow the English Center in the region to provide a blessing to the community, a meeting point for seekers, and a place for the church to meet.

Pray that Mien Christians of Southeast Asia would share the Truth within their village and province and reach outward to surrounding countries.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). Consider Team Expansion workers as Christmas lights shining in the darkness, representing the Light of Jesus. Christmas produces unique opportunities for Team Expansion workers around the world to talk about Jesus in a non-threatening way. Pray for boldness, opportunity, and receptive hearts.

Give thanks to God for listening to and answering our prayers for our brothers and sisters around the world who are in peril. Let us plead before God’s throne today on behalf of Chinese Christians who are currently under persecution. Pray that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit, be as wise as serpents, and as innocent as doves, and be ready always to give the reason for the hope that they have in Christ and to be a light especially to other believers.

Pray that their faith would help to open the eyes and hearts of their families to hear the true message of the Gospel both through seeing and hearing.

Pray for believers under Palestinian Authority who face discrimination from government security forces and even civilians for the simple act of putting their faith in Jesus. Pray for the protection of these dear brothers and sisters in Christ so that they may continue to worship freely in spirit and truth.
2016-11-25: Djibouti Christians.
Djibouti Christians face significant social persecution from family and friends, as well as difficulty finding/keeping work and receiving justice in court cases. Pray for the faith and perseverance of our Djibouti brothers and sisters, trusting that this high cost of following Christ is strengthening His Church.
