Praise God for new strategies, like the Mekong Mulltiply, being unfolded to reach the unreached. The Mekong Multiply is a strategy for igniting church multiplication movements and reaching every unreached people group in Southeast Asia. Pray that God will raise up partners in every way for Mekong Multiply. Ask God for opportunities to cast the Mekong Multiply vision.
2017-01-27: God Never Changes.
Team Expansion protocols and workers have changed through the years, but praise God that He never changes! (Malachi 3:6) A missionary organization is fluid to a certain extent, but praise God for His Presence to guide and direct from every area of functionality to every spiritual aspect our workers encompass. Pray for 2017 to be a fruitful year for His Kingdom in spite of changes, interruptions, distractions, or things we view as negative, for God is man’s Builder of faith through the ages (Heb. 12:2).
2017-01-26: Pray for the Trainers and Trainees.
Pray for the trainers and trainees of Jonathan Training Module One as they increase their competence and confidence of implementing the fruitful disciple making movement principles, tools, and skills. Pray for the teeming millions who will be impacted by their faithful obedience.
2017-01-25: May Church Planting and Disciple Making Movements Abound.
Praise God for bringing participants to Jonathan Training currently happening at Team Expansion. Pray for those participants learning how to make disciples who will make disciples and thereby see church planting and disciple making movements abound.
2017-01-24: Give Thanks.
Give thanks for facilitators and coaches in Jonathan Training who invest in the lives of participants, who model the fruitful practices in making disciples not only in class but also in their own lives. Ask God to pour out His Spirit upon them and fill them up as they give themselves in teaching simple disciple making principles.
2017-01-23: Jonathan Training.
Here on the campus of Team Expansion in Louisville KY another session of Jonathan Training is taking place January 23-27. Praise God for the fruitful church planting trainings aimed at multiplying disciples who make disciples and equipping them to plant simple churches that plant churches. Thank God for these Christians who participate, for their strong faith and courage to immediately put into practice what they learn.
2017-01-22: The Spirit.
“…till the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest (Is 32:15). As Team Expansion anticipates new fields to tend to, ask the Spirit to pour upon prayer warriors to soften the soil, so that when the Gospel seeds are planted, there will be a great harvest of righteousness.
2017-01-21: God Hears and Answers Prayers.
Praise God for hearing and answering prayers for an increase in the mission force. Knowing that the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few we at Team Expansion continue to ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest field (Matt 9:37-38).
2017-01-20: Parable of the Weeds.
In the parable of the weeds, Jesus explains that “The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom” (Matt 13:38a). In this new year of 2017, Team Expansion anticipates that God will give new people groups of the world to cultivate in making disciples for Him. In Jesus’ name, pray for new fields to be made known to us, for open doors to start new work among unreached people that God directs us to.
2017-01-19: Zume Project.
Praise God that Zume Project was launched in November 2016. Zume is the Greek word for yeast, which Jesus described as being able to multiply throughout an entire batch of dough.
