Job speaks of hope for a tree: cut it down and it sprouts again, and the new shoots will not fail. Tree roots may grow old and its stump dies, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant (Job 14:7-9). Emerald Hills has copious trees and displays God’s beauty. Emerald Hills is a training and sustaining base for harvest workers among the unreached peoples of the world. Praise God for the hope He gives in Jesus Christ and for the workers that are on the ground spreading that hope. Pray that “new shoots” would sprout, new believers would drink from the Living Water to bud and plant disciple making movements and indigenous churches that will not fail.

 This week in Launch (March 20-31) the candidates will learn that Team Expansion requires each missionary candidate to have a team of prayer warriors before landing in their adopted country. Ask God for more intercessors to undergird Launch missionary candidates. Pray that they would be devoted to prayer.

“Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Ps 127:1) Praise God for His character of Master Builder and Protector. God continues to amaze us as each payment is made on the Prayer Center and Atrium. Thank God for the space to train in the lower level of the Prayer Center and Atrium. Ask God to provide funds to build a wing for training and care of third culture kids.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Ps 121:1-2) The Leadership Task Force convened yesterday evening and today to give thanksgiving and praise to God for he year just past and the future yet to come. Ask God to fill Team Expansion’s Leadership Task Force with divine wisdom to oversee our organization, to provide the kind of pace setting accountability and leadership that we need to advance God’s Kingdom according to His plan.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” (James 3:17) Praise God for Team Expansion’s Leadership Task Force (board of directors). Ask God to grant wisdom, strength, good health, and perseverance to do their duties in guiding our organization as God directs them.

Team Expansion has dedicated today as Day of Extraordinary Prayer and Fasting at Emerald Hills. Pray for our staff to come with hearts ready for praise, worship, prayers and petitions of many kinds on behalf of persecuted, nations, unreached, harvest workers, and expectations. “O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name.” (Neh. 1:11)

“…the hills are clothed with gladness.” (Ps 65:12) This month Team Expansion celebrates the 8-year anniversary of our move to Emerald Hills. Give thanks to God for orchestrating the completion of the Prayer Center and Atrium. Pray that prayer will be the key component at Emerald Hills.

“In that day, the Lord Almighty will be a glorious crown, a beautiful wreath for the remnant of his people.” (Is. 28:5) There are 7,275,084,000 people in the world today. There are 16,315 people groups and 6,564 of those groups are unreached. Pray that people who are trained at Emerald Hills will be empowered to reach the unreached with the message of Christ.

“Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come; the cooing of doves is heard in our land.” (Song 2:12) Throughout the year, many key events are held at Emerald Hills, Team Expansion’s 61-acre campus outside of Louisville, KY. Pray that Emerald Hills will be an optimal place for prayer and reflection for missionaries on home service as well as for churches and individuals who desire to pray for the nations and God’s mission.

Pray that worker will have boldness to overcome fear of embarrassment or failure.
