2017-04-01: Unreached People.

“All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name.” (Psalm 86:9) Engaging the global church in God’s plan for the nations is one of Team Expansion’s key result areas. There are still over 6,500 unreached peoples groups. That means there is no witness or access to the Gospel among these peoples. Pray that the Church would become engaged in the vision of seeing disciple making movements among unreached people of the world.

2017-03-31: The Birds of the Air.

“The birds of the air nest by the waters; they sing among the branches.” (Ps 104:13) Birdsong is a constant sound and familiar praise heard among the trees of Emerald Hills. Celebrate with Team Expansion 8 years of developing the 61-acre campus outside Louisville, KY for training and sustaining harvest workers for the nations. Pray that 50 missionaries will be trained through LAUNCH, our training to enable new recruits to deputize, raise ministry partners and arrive on field, this year.

2017-03-30: Lasting Fruit for His Kingdom.

“You will go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” (Is 55:12). For the past two weeks, missionary candidates have been in training to be “Launched” into the world of mission. Give God the applause He so deserves for preparing new workers to serve through Team Expansion. Pray that God goes behind and before them, to bring success in finding ministry partners, and to bring success in bearing lasting fruit for His Kingdom.

2017-03-29: Everywhere They Go.

“You bring darkness, it becomes night, and all the beasts of the forest prowl.” (Ps 104:20) Not only is Emerald Hills home to Team Expansion, it also is home to the deer, raccoon, fox, hawk, and other wildlife. Like the beasts of the forest who leave a footprint in the dark, volunteers who come to serve on campus also make an imprint and an impact. Praise God for the many volunteer workers from all over the US who have a hand in developing Emerald Hills. Pray that each volunteer may grow in the fullness of Christ, leaving His imprint everywhere they go.

2017-03-28: Praise the Lord from the Earth.

Praise the Lord from the earth… lightning, hail, snow, clouds, stormy winds…your mountains and hills, fruit trees, cedars, wild animals, birds…kings of the earth and all nations…young men and maidens, old men and children (Ps 148:7-12). While working in the office or visiting the campus of Emerald Hills, it is a natural response to praise the Lord. These past 8 years of seeing God’s faithfulness in completing the Prayer Center and Atrium gives cause to praise His name. Pray that the Prayer Center and Atrium will be the center of the campus pointing visitors to unreached people groups around the world and equipping them to pray for those who have never heard of Jesus.

2017-03-27: Show Me Your Ways.

“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths.” (Ps 25:4) Pray that Emerald Hills will be a place where missionary candidates, missionary families on home service, church groups, and individuals can participate in the disciplines that spiritually form.

2017-03-26: Salvation of the Nations.

“…let the fields be jubilant and everything in them…the trees of the forest will sing for joy…” (Ps 96:12). Magnify the Lord for the way He has provided Emerald Hills for all who visit as a place to pray, retreat, and learn. Pray Emerald Hills always will be used for God’s glory and for the salvation of the nations.

2017-03-25: A Lamp to My Feet.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” (Ps 119:105).Praise God for identifying 29 partners in the previous “29 Project” that helped fund the development of Emerald Hills. Along the prayer trails are 29 prayer shelters nestled in God’s creation where people can pray, reflect, and learn. May the prayers of His people cause His Word and His Message to shine among least reached peoples so that more souls are led to Christ.

2017-03-24: Give Thanks to God.

“He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.” (Ps 25:12b) Give thanks to God for candidates attending Launch, Team Expansion’s training and pre-field orientation. Pray that they will receive the insight they need to move forward in reaching the unreached with the Gospel. Pray for the candidates who are “practicing” their fundraising presentations before the whole group and some of the staff today.

2017-03-23: Fruit in Season.

Remember the chorus of “I Shall Not Be Moved”?

“I shall not be, I shall not be moved. I shall not be, I shall not be moved. Just like a tree planted by the water, I shall not be moved.”  The song may be derived from Jeremiah 17:7-8 or perhaps Psalm 1:3, “He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.” While prayers of thanksgiving are being lifted for Emerald Hills and how God has worked to provide Launch candidates to be trained throughout the past 8 years at this campus, pray that harvest workers, both new recruits and veteran missionaries, will not be moved and continue to yield fruit in season.
