“In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:4-6). This month of May Team Expansion general requests will focus on partnerships. This may include translation projects, Community Health Evangelism, media broadcasts, PACE projects, as well as prayer and financial partners. Give thanks and praise God for partnerships in the Gospel to further His Kingdom on earth.
2017-04-29: Unleashed for the Unreached.
Through a prayer initiative called Unleashed for the Unreached (U4theU.com), praise God the global church is more engaged in prayer for the nations. Pray that God uses Team Expansion as we seek to facilitate and carry out this unique and broad-based prayer initiative that will unleash individuals, churches, and groups to pray for the unreached peoples of the world.
2017-04-28: Trainers and Trainees.
Praise God for trainers and trainees of Jonathan Training Module as they increase their competence and confidence of implementing the fruitful disciple making movement principles, tools, and skills. Pray for the teeming millions who will be impacted by their faithful obedience.
2017-04-27: Fruitful Church Trainings.
Engaging the global church is part of ministry through Team Expansion. Praise God for the fruitful church planting trainings aimed at multiplying disciples who make disciples and equipping them to plant simple churches that plant churches. Thank God for the local Christians who participated, for their strong faith and courage to immediately put into practice what they learned.
2017-04-26: Learning How to Make Disciples Who Make Disciples.
Pray for those who will be learning how to make disciples who will make disciples and thereby see church planting and disciple making movements abound.
2017-04-25: Jonathan Training.
Jonathan Training takes its name from Jonathan of 1 Samuel 14, where we learn that Saul’s son Jonathan and his armor bearer rely on the LORD to give the Philistines into their hands. Jonathan faced many challenges but trusted in the LORD for success. Pray that participants in Jonathan Training would face challenges with confidence in the LORD, not just during training, but when they go back to their respective spheres of influence in order to make disciples and plant churches.
2017-04-24: Engage the Global Church.
One way for Team Expansion to engage the global church is to host Jonathan Training. Participants are trained in principles of disciple making and immediately experience and practice those principles. Pray that God will embolden His church to make disciples.
2017-04-23: Teaming Up with God.
Teaming up with God in His mission means participating with Him in making disciples of all nations. His people can do that through the practice of going, the practice of welcoming, the practice of sending, and the practice of mobilizing. Ask God to re-new awareness in His people with an urgency of obeying Jesus’s mandate to make disciples of all ethnicities.
2017-04-23: Praise God for Local Churches.
Praise God for local churches who partner with Team Expansion in order to spread the Good News of Jesus among unreached peoples. Ask God to empower churches to become involved in adopting a people group in order to start disciple making movements through PACE Projects.
2017-04-21: Engage the Global Church.
Team Expansion wants to engage the global church for God’s plan for the nations. Ask God to work through church partnerships to establish disciple making movements among peoples without any connection with Jesus. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17.
