Cooperation between Team Expansion and prayer partners give added power in prayer. Matthew 18:19 says that if two on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done by our heavenly Father. As prayer initiatives for global prayer movement grows, Team Expansion’s desire is to partner with other like-minded organizations serving in those fields for whom we are interceding. Pray for partnership opportunities to grow as the prayer initiative ministry moves forward.

The second Wednesday of every month Team Expansion’s International Staff gather at 1pm for Community Meeting to hear how each department is keeping on task. Then we pray for our partners and teammates spread around the world. Pray that Team Expansion workers will not be distracted from the goals set, under God’s leading and direction, for 2017. Pray that each would remember the reason (to glorify God) and their reward (heaven) for his/her work. Ask that each would resist discouragement, renew daily through prayer and God’s Word, and rely upon God for each goal and each task to be accomplished. Nothing is impossible with God.

Team Expansion’s Prayer Coordinator is attending an international conference on prayer and missions in Herrnhut, Germany this week. Pray that all of the prayer and mission leaders who are attending would deeply connect with the Lord and with one another and experience the reviving work of the Holy Spirit in this historic place of prayer, revival, and mission.

Team Expansion’s Prayer Coordinator is attending an international conference on prayer and mission in Herrnhut, Germany this week. Praise God for an invitation to attend the Linking Prayer and Missions Conference May 8-12. Pray for safety in travel and lots of learning at the conference.

Team Expansion has many partnering churches in the Gospel, both locally and globally, with whom we have shared our vision of 24 Disciple Making Movements among the unreached by 2024. Some of these partnering churches are implementing new paradigms of ministry. Jesus said that you can’t put new wine into old wineskins. It is hard to get people to accept new paradigms of ministry that are actually more biblical than traditional paradigms of ministry. Ask God to create “new wineskins” in the hearts of long-time believers in the West and all around the world.

As Team Expansion workers in Taiwan have created new videos for media ministry, we have been praying for God to provide local partners to help with the development of this huge project. Ask God to lead in building partnership between this team and Create International Taiwan School of Cartooning and Animation for Missions. If this is a partnership that could help this team work together with local Taiwan artists to create discipleship tools and resources, would you pray that God would make that very clear and enable partners to dream big for His Kingdom?

While life is terribly difficult for the Venezuelans, God continues to provide resources and strength for those still living in the country. Against incredible odds, God’s work continues to spread. For 10 years now, a Team Expansion missionary and her partners have been working on a project to translate the Bible for the Warao Indians, who live deep in the jungle of the Orinoco River basin. Praise God that progress continues in translation, and a local team is being trained to help in this process. Pray for our brothers and sisters who share in the heavenly calling (Hebrews 3:1).

Many Christians are unaware that we live in a country that has a law in place requiring our President to proclaim a National Day of Prayer each year on the first Thursday of May. People of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups and as individuals. Today let us partner together in requests, prayer, intercession, and thanksgiving being made for everyone – kings and those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness (1 Timothy 2:1-2). The theme this year is For Your Great Name’s Sake! Hear Us…Forgive Us…Heal Us (Daniel 9:19). www.nationaldayofprayer.org
