Semana Santa, the week before Easter, is an important one in Spain. Semana Santa (Holy Week) is marked by a number of processions that depict the arrest and the crucifixion of Jesus. In the city of Granada, there are 70 processions during this week. Team Expansion workers take the opportunity to share with neighbors about these Biblical events and let them know that they follow the true Christ, not the images made of wood and cloth, like the images of Mary included in the processions. Pray that this message will be heard and that many encounter the risen Christ.
2019-04-15: Fun-Loving People.
| D and his wife M are two of the most fun-loving people you could ever meet. D claims to be an atheist. He never encouraged his children to deal with the matter of faith and God, but now D would like to see his grandchildren go to church in order to make informed decisions as to what they believe. Incredible, isn’t it? Pray for D and M in Ireland, their children, and their grandchildren to discover that there is a God who is real and loves them intensely. |
2019-04-13: Greater London Area.
the Greater London area is by far the largest urban area in England and one of the busiest cities in the world. Praise God that DMM coaches trained 24 in South London and made several connections for more training. Ask God to lead in these connections for more people to be trained and implement Disciple Making Movement principles.
2019-04-12: God’s Omniscient Character.
| Praise God for His omniscient character. Ask God to go before each of our 242 adult field missionaries for preparing hearts. Team Expansion would love to see us and our ministry partners plant 2100 churches in 2019, to see 7000 baptized and to see Team Expansion’s total mission church attendance grow from 41,191 to 50,000 this year. |
2019-04-11: Active Field Teams.
| Praise God for the 76 currently active field teams of Team Expansion He has strategically placed around the world. Praise God for the favor He has shown in order to achieve the goal of 24 Disciple Making Movements among unreached peoples by the end of the year 2024. God is moving and drawing many to Himself. |
2019-04-10: Discipleship.
| Discipleship is often strangled because so many people think that church planting means building buildings, employing pastors, making budgets, and having programs. Pray that believers would have a vision for making disciples who make disciples and that they would do the essential things of the church – Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. |
2019-04-09: Partners and Projects.
Give thanks to God for partners and projects to reach those following Islam. Ask God to draw 10% of the Muslim world to Himself in the next 10 years. Ask God to cause mission organizations, including Team Expansion, to be proactive in sharing their faith with Muslims. Ask God to prepare the church to receive this new influx of believers.
2019-04-08: Moving in Circumstances.
| Praise God for moving in the circumstances of a former teacher at PHS to draw her to Himself. And praise God for prompting the current receptionist to read the Bible. Both women are from Muslim backgrounds. Pray that *Addy and *Lee continue to respond to the Holy Spirit and decide to obey Jesus Christ |
2019-04-07: Praise God for Faithfulness.
| Praise God for the faithfulness of workers in Romania. Ask God to raise up teammates for workers in Romania. Pray that He would grow an effective team together in His timing according to His will. |
2019-04-06: Give Thanks.
Give thanks for the opportunity of hosting Team Expansion’s Leadership Task Force (board of directors) retreat at Emerald Hills. Pray for sweet fellowship, prayer, and worship. Ask God’s guidance in reviewing field data and in making decisions that will empower our organization to follow the path God has laid out for us.
