Ask God to give the supporting churches, friends, and family members of Team Expansion workers the right resources and words of encouragement to keep families focused on the work God has called them to do.
2017-08-26: New Families.
Pray for new families arriving and adjusting to different culture than what they know. Ask God to give entire families coping mechanisms to stay spiritually strong in times of discouragement and confusion. Pray for strong marriage bonds and communication between all family members.
2017-08-25: Christ’s Ambassadors.
Pray for Third Culture Kids to develop a heightened desire to be Christ’s ambassadors in their schools, playgrounds, and neighborhoods.
2017-08-24: Salt and Light.
Pray for Team Expansion parents striving to be salt and light examples to their TCKs, not just in addition to their calling in another culture, but as a central part of that calling.
2017-08-23: Third Culture Kids.
Pray for Team Expansion Third Culture Kids coming to big transition times in their lives: starting a new school, getting a new sibling, deciding to be baptized, reaching dating age, moving away from parents, crossing oceans to attend university, etc.
2017-08-22: Adequate Resources.
Pray for adequate resources for all Team Expansion families to provide the kind of education needed for their children.
2017-08-21: Biblical Worldview.
Many of Team Expansion families home school their children. Pray for wisdom and strength to teach TCKs with a Biblical worldview. Pray for energy for parents who are homeschooling or a running school as a part of their mission work.
2017-08-20: Back to School.
Back to school is all over the media and store fronts. Great education is one of the primary concerns for any parent, and it is no different for those overseas. Pray that educators step forward to join at least 5 families requesting tutors on field.
2017-08-19: Proverbs 17:17.
Team Expansion has several families new to their adopted culture/country. Pray for children to make special friends in their new homes (Proverbs 17:17).
2017-08-18: Pray for Cross-Cultural Families.
Pray for Team Expansion’s cross cultural families. Pray for TCKs to be content in every situation, even when they feel homesick for family, friends, and the comforts of America. Pray that they store up treasures in heaven and place their heart there (Mt 6:19-21).
