Bosnia-Herzegovina comprises two entities: The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic of Serbia. The Federation is predominantly Bosniak (Muslims and Croat (Catholics), while the Republic of Serbia is Serb (Orthodox). To complicate matters more, Bosnia has a directly elected tripartite presidency. The three presidency members are from the three constituent nations: one Bosniak, one Serb, one Croat. Ask Father God, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit to move in BiH to bring about a peaceful union between these three constituents. Pray they may function and rule in peace and harmony for the good of all.
2019-04-25: Bihac.
With a population of less than 60,000, Bihac is a quaint little city in the Bosanska Krajina region of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. While small, it is the administrative center of Una-Sana Canton. Cafes and restaurants dot the shoreline of the Una River, where people gather, sip their coffee, and enjoy the water. Pray that administrators would center their leadership on Jesus Christ, the Living Water.

Zenica is the fourth largest city of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the administrative center of the Zenica-Doboj Canton. It is located about 40 miles north of Sarajevo and is situated on the Bosna River. It is surrounded by a mountainous and hilly landscape, although large factories disrupt the otherwise beautiful view. Around 120,000 people, the majority of whom are Muslim, live and work in Zenica. How is God leading you to pray for the city of Zenica?
2019-04-23: Only Major European City with a Mosque.
Sarajevo, Bosnia’s capital city, is the only major European city to have a mosque, a Catholic church, and a synagogue in the same neighborhood. Because of its religious and cultural diversity, it has been called “the Jerusalem of Europe.” We praise you Lord, for the cultural diversity in this unique city. In it we can see your creativity and your lavish love for all people.

Tuzla is the third largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is the economic, educational, and healthcare center of northeast Bosnia. It is home to two universities, several industrial centers, and the Salt Lakes, a popular tourist destination, making it one of the more stable economic areas in Bosnia. Praise God for His provision for this area and for future investors, students and tourists who will come to this city. May they bring the Light of Christ to Tuzla making it, above all else, a spiritual center for this region. 2019-04-21: Go Quickly and Tell His Disciples.
“Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you…; there they will see him’.” (Mt 28:7) Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the fact that He is ahead preparing to see His brothers and sisters. His family has an urgent message to tell the world. Pray that His Church is obedient and goes quickly to spread the Gospel among the last, the least, and the lost. |

2019-04-20: Acts 10.
In Acts 10, we read that Cornelius was expectant and “had called together his relatives and close friends” to hear what Peter had to say about the Lord. In movements of God today, the Holy Spirit often works through families, drawing entire groups to Christ at one time. Pray for family groups in Banja Luka today. Ask God to stir expectation in them, preparing them for what local believers, pastors, and missionaries share with them. Ask God to bring salvation to whole groups of relatives and friends in Banja Luka. |
