Rejoice! The Manjaku New Testament was dedicated on November 12, 2016. Praise God for His hand on the project through the years. Pray that God will transform the Manjaku communities in West Africa.
2017-09-18: Persistent Prayer and Abundant Evangelism.
Every church multiplication movement in history has had persistent prayer and abundant evangelism preceding it. Ask God that Christians in Niger will be bold to share the Gospel with all their Muslim neighbors.
2017-09-16: Training in CMM.
This past summer a Team Expansion worker traveled to Southeast Asia. His trip took him to several different countries in the region. He conducted training in Church Multiplication Movement and saw participants winning souls as they shared the Gospel. Pray for ongoing fruit from the CMM training and for a Hmong translation of the CMM materials.
2017-09-15: Let’s Talk English.
Praise God for the “Let’s Talk English” outreach in Italy. Workers are sharing the Gospel with boldness and clarity. The Lord is using the outreach to generate contacts for the Team in Ancona to follow up with. Pray for disciple making movements to start in students’ homes.
2017-09-14: Open Door.
Praise God for an amazing open door in Vietnam through a Vietnamese evangelist. Twenty years ago, this evangelist was imprisoned because he was a Christian, and his family of 5 children were persecuted, ridiculed, became poor, yet never wavered. Today this evangelist and family are still overseeing the 6 churches they have started, even though the mocking continues. This man, this hero of the faith, because he does not have a seminary title, cannot be considered a pastor in Vietnam, even though the people he pastors revere him. He sent his son to tell a visiting Field Coordinator, “We don’t want your money. We want you to train us to reach our Tai Dam people.” There are over one million of them. Pray for a Disciple Making Movement among the Tai Dam.
2017-09-13: Community Meeting.
International Services holds a monthly community meeting to praise God for goals accomplished and to keep Team Expansion staff on task, informed, and accountable. Give thanks for this monthly checkup, and pray that the vision of 24 disciple making movements among the unreached nations by 2024 will come to fruition.
2017-09-12: God Is on the Move!
God is on the move! Ever since two brothers/shopkeepers in the Middle East gave their lives to Jesus, they have been under attack. God is orchestrating through their harassment and persecution to spread His Word. After discreetly acquiring 500 Bibles for distribution, these brothers have met many, many people wanting to find a Bible. For many years, one of the brothers has had a re-occurring dream from God telling him to deliver His Word with a young man he did not recognize. This summer he met that young man, a summer intern, in his dream. Praise God for preparing these brothers, for wooing and pursuing this people group. Pray for the Word of God to penetrate hearts and transform this entire nation.
2017-09-11: Transformed Lives.
Praise God for many transformed lives in Ecuador! Ask Him to equip His church there to multiply disciples
2017-09-10: Remember the Faith.
Remember the faith passed down from Lois to Eunice to Timothy (2 Tim 1:5). Praise God for the grandparents of Team Expansion families who support their children and grandchildren in their labor for the Lord among the nations. Pray that more grandparents would instill in their grandchildren the need for harvest workers, encourage them to serve God cross-culturally, and expand His Kingdom, all for God’s glory.
2017-09-09: Using Business Experience to Advance the Kingdom.
Pray for those who are using their business experience to advance the Kingdom of God around the world. Ask God to send more workers skilled in every field who will shine brightly in dark lands.
