Join a Team Expansion family serving in Asia in praying for more local partners, both Han and Uyghur, to help bring the freedom, love, and hope of Jesus to this land.

Celebrate God’s work among the Lisu tribe. It has now been 100 years since missionary James O Frazer invented the Lisu script. And by means of the script, the Scriptures were printed both on papers and on hearts. According to OMF International estimates as of 2008, there are now 700,000+ Lisu in Yunnan and 450,000 in Myanmar. Christianity is now gradually becoming the dominant religion among the Lisu people. Pray that Lisu would reach other tribal peoples in Asia with the Word of God.

Praise God for a team of workers in poor and remote jungle villages of Asia. Pray for the Gospel to take root and transform the people of these villages. Ask the Lord to teach us the importance of fasting and praying in accomplishing His mission in “Dawnlight.”

Praise God for blessings in 2017 in a sensitive field in Asia. Thank God for the many friends responding to the saving grace of God. During 2017, the Lord has brought 17 people to His Kingdom and they have obeyed Him in waters of baptism. All of them are the first-generation believers from Buddhism. God is strengthening and equipping local leaders for leading village churches. Nearly 1000 guests participated in Christmas outreach (meal and message) in Buddhist area. God enabled 80+ believers to give blankets to individuals. Pray for the recipients of the meal, message, and blankets to respond to the love of Jesus.

Praise God for the opportunity to take disciple making movement training to workers in Mongolia. Pray for effective and productive training. Ask God to initiate movements in the cities and in the countryside so that His name is proclaimed and honored in all of Mongolia.

Praise God for His faithfulness in raising up His church in Mongolia. May 1-11 a team of workers are facilitating a training in disciple making movement principles in that country. Pray for the participants to embrace these tools and engage more people with the Gospel.

According to Operation World 7^th edition, geographically Asia covers 31,829,200 square kilometers or almost 24% of the world’s surface area. There are around 4900 ethno-linguistic peoples in Asia’s nations. Persecution is most intense, and lack of religious freedom most widespread in Asia. Praise God that He is on the move in lands previously cut off from Christianity, un-evangelized groups are being engaged with the Gospel and disciples are being made. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to send more workers to Asia.

Praise God for the resources He supplies for Team Expansion to function day to day. Pray that, by God’s power, a training and housing wing will be constructed for equipping workers to be sent out to the nations.

Partnership with the Campus Love ministry has given workers in Taiwan the opportunity to develop relationships with students outside their normal school classroom setting. One young lady has been impacted by many Christ followers and God is drawing her near. Give thanks for the opportunity to meet her and share life and faith as the family of God. Pray for the Taiwanese people that workers share life with to take the final step of faith.

Our teams on the field are directly impacted by shortages in our home office personnel. For everyone to thrive, we need some crucial roles filled by passionate and qualified workers. We especially need people with IT skills, administrative gifts, or applications experience.
