Praise God for His provision to take trainings in disciple making principles to Brazil this month. Pray for Goiania, Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo to be impacted greatly by God’s Spirit moving among these trainings.
2018-09-06: A California Mega Church.
In partnership with a California megachurch wanting to impact 30 world-class cities, Disciple Making Movement trainings will be offered in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Lima, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and many others. The church has existed in these cities for 500+ years, still with much work to do. Pray these DMM trainings result in thousands and thousands coming to Christ.
2018-09-05: Exploring Partnerships.
Team Expansion has been exploring partnerships to support the global church as more and more countries get involved in sending out missionaries. The team in Venezuela has done this well, and conversations with people in at least 7 other countries are happening. After a recent training for believers in Brazil, excitement is building through this partnership as they might be the next nation to carry the Gospel! Pray for believers in Brazil and other countries who are ready to take on the task of talomg the Gospel into the world. Ask God to raise up more partnerships in this capacity.
2018-09-05: The Church Is Growing.
Praise God that the church is growing because of the dedication of His children. A team serves among the barrios of Ecuador, using strategies like adopt and block and small groups. The enemy is working hard in the barrios to keep the Ecuadorians in darkness. Pray that Jesus will show His Light and that His Truth prevails.
2018-09-04: Praise God.
Praise God that another church has been planted by Venezuelans as they work toward 120 churches both inside and outside of Venezuela by year 2020. Ask God to use this team to bring many people to the knowledge of Christ and eternal life. Ask God for His provision in launching Christian Eternity Community Church in the area of Sabana Grande.
2018-09-03: Bible Translation.
There are 35 different countries in North, Central and South Americas, and nearly 1000 languages spoken across the region. Praise God that Bible translation is active in many languages, and more and more communities have access to Scripture in their own language. There are still groups like the Emerillon of French Guiana waiting to hear God speak their language for the very first time. Pray that Bible translation would start in languages still in need. Ask God to equip teams to bring His Word to communities throughout the Americas. Pray that people would engage with Scripture as it becomes accessible to them.
2018-08-31: Praise God for Sending Base.
Praise God for establishing a sending base in Brazil in association with Team Expansion. Pray that this sending base is equipped and empowered to send and sustain a Brazilian mission force. Ask God’s favor on the launching of training programs and protocols this last week of August and first week of September.
2018-08-30: St. Pierre & Miquelon.
St Pierre & Miquelon is an overseas territorial collectivity of France and the last vestige of France’s once-vast North American possessions. Pray that these islanders would come to know Jesus and realize they are God’s treasured possession, His own children whom He loves and died for their sins to be forgiven.
2018-08-29: No Evangelical Groups.
St Pierre and Miquelon have no evangelical groups. There may be a few private believers, but there is no formal evangelical or Protestant presence in the islands. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to send workers.
2018-08-28: St. Pierre and Miquelon.
The territorial collectivity of St Pierre and Miquelon is an island group at the mouth of Canada’s Gulf of St Lawrence, 25 km south of Newfoundland. These isolated islands and their people have long been Catholic. Traditions are strong and change has come slowly, despite the economic downturn when the fishing industry all but disappeared. Pray for people to find hope in a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
