Praise God for multiplying the Kairos course locally and globally. Pray that participants will make an impact as they integrate God’s desire for the nations into their lives.
2018-10-14: Jesus Commissions His Followers.
Jesus commissions His followers in Matthew 28:19 to make disciples of all nations.
Pray for greater awareness of the unfinished task of reaching over 3 billion people with the Gospel of Christ.
2018-10-12: Kairos Course.
Kairos course takes place Oct 15-19 and facilitator training follows Oct 22-23. Pray that participants are responsive to God’s call on their life for reaching the nations with the Gospel
2018-10-09: Team Building.
One particular day of Launch is centered on team building. Pray for the candidates’ confidence and courage to participate in physical exercise through the Discipleship/Discovery School of the Outdoors. Pray for DSOTO instructors to communicate well and encourage candidates to follow through the courses that require team effort.
2018-10-07: Ask God to Bless Workers.
Ask God to bless workers with innovative and courageous minds. Pray that they will share what they learn with each other and other workers all over the world. Ask the Lord to raise up a new generation of harvesters from countries like Brazil, Philippines, and Ethiopia. Pray that these international workers will have hungry hearts and minds. Ask God to enable Team Expansion to partner with them in mutual training and teamwork.
2018-10-08: Stamina, Strength, and the Filling of the Holy Spirit.
Launch training can be tiring for trainees and trainers alike. Pray for stamina, strength, and the filling of the Holy Spirit to serve one another. Ask God to boost concentration, comprehension, and compliance for completing requirements of this second week.
2018-10-06: Missionary Families.
Team Expansion missionary families don’t always have a sit-down Bible study with someone or a deep spiritual conversation, but God gives them many opportunities to invite friends over and hang out, to cook with them, or go for a walk. These opportunities show real life as a family who desires to follow God. This is their ‘normal’ life and they try to include a conversation about Jesus in each encounter. Pray for Christian families to be bold and see each moment of living life on life as a God-moment to talk about Jesus.
2018-10-05: Team Building.
Launch candidates will experience team building, learn how to raise ministry partners, spend time in spiritual formation exercises, take in security protocols, map out further training tracks, learn to cook from scratch, and much more. Pray that this time of learning will be beneficial and equip them for service in the Kingdom of God.
2018-10-04: Praise God for Volunteers!
Praise God for the myriad of volunteers that help keep Launch functioning smoothly. From host families to catering meals, from caring for MKs to airport runs, each volunteer has a role to play in preparing new workers for the field. Ask God to bless these behind the scenes workers so they may continue to serve joyfully.
