During their March 21-22 retreat, the Leadership Task Force reviewed field by field reports and prayed for our field personnel. Among the 2013 stats for which we praised God: 920 baptisms by Team Expansion and our partners.
2014-05-31: New Harvest Workers.
Give thanks for partnership in the Gospel and partnerships for furthering the Gospel. Ask the Lord to raise up prayer partners and financial backing for new harvest workers so that His Kingdom will advance among unreached peoples of the world.
2014-05-30:
Thank God for staff members who are involved in planning and implementing Pre-Field Orientation for Pathways interns. Ask God for stamina to serve well and wisdom in how to coach throughout the summer.
2014-05-29: Make Known the Gospel.
“Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make know the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly as I should.” (Eph. 6:19-20) Pray that God would use Pathways interns to promote the Gospel among unreached peoples.
2014-05-28: Prayer Support for Pathways Interns.
“As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.” (1 Sam 12:23) Ask God to multiply the prayer support of each of the Pathways interns this summer so that the Gospel may go forth among peoples of Spain, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Ghana, and Cincinnati.
2014-05-27: Saints.
Praise God for the saints who are letting their light shine before men, that they may see God’s good deeds and praise His name. Pray that Pathways interns will be “little Christs” to their team mates, host, and people they will meet cross-culturally.
2014-05-26: Celebrate.
Celebrate how God is multiplying Kairos among churches, Bible campuses, and study groups. Pray that Kairos facilitators’ training would equip individuals to serve, mobilize, and help people connect with God’s heart for the nations.
2014-05-25: Pathways Pre-Field Orientation.
Pathways Pre-Field Orientation (PFO) through May 30 – praise God for His instruction and counsel to train and coach Pathways summer interns in preparing them for serving among unreached peoples. Pray that, by God’s power, Pathways interns and coaches are provided effective training to engage in extraordinary prayer and serve alongside career workers in the field.
2014-05-24: Pathways Interns.
Give thanks and praise for the Pathways interns heading out this summer to fields all around the world. Ask God to help each Pathways intern to process his/her own mission experience to determine if God is calling him/her to cross-cultural work.
2014-05-23: PACE Partnerships.
Praise the Lord for the 25 PACE partnerships underway and the prayer initiatives that mobilize prayer for church planting movements among unreached peoples. Ask God to identify prayer coordinators for PACE projects for launching more prayer initiatives for specific unreached people groups.
