Give thanks and praise God for churches and individuals that have supported both spiritually and financially 30+ years of Team Expansion’s existence. Pray that more churches would partn in prayer and resources so that the Gospel continues to go forth among the unreached.
2014-09-09: Training and Preparation.
Give thanks and praise God for harvest workers in training and preparing to go to the regions beyond, void of the Gospel. These regions are a frontier for the spread of the Gospel and are simply waiting for God’s story to develop its people into an intricate vision of God’s kingdom on earth. Ask God for more frontiersmen to go to the lost and plant the church of God among unreached peoples living there.
2014-09-08: Prayer Journeys.
Give thanks and praise God for protecting workers on prayer journeys to survey regions where the Good News of Jesus has never been heard. Praise God for connecting them with people of peace, for opportunities to share the Gospel through radio websites, Jesus film, and oral story telling. Pray for the millions who are unaware of a living Savior, that through prayer trips of Christians the unreached would hear the message and comprehend it. Pray too that many believers and fellowships spring up.
2014-09-07: Celebrate.
Celebrate the results of summer outreach programs and events that took place in various parts of the world this past summer. Seeds were sown in creative access country; 8 Taiwanese were baptized at the 9th annual Sports and English camp; VBSs make inner city children eager to learn more about Jesus. Pray that God would multiply His church worldwide and continue to send out His message of Hope to the lost
2014-09-06: Connections.
Give thanks and praise God for Team Expansion’s Connections program (short term) that exposes churches and individuals to work being done among unreached peoples. Praise the Lord for orchestrating trips this summer to Peru as well as 2 locations in the U.S. Ask God to increase the momentum of Connections trips to benefit the unreached peoples of the world.
2014-09-05: Protection of Harvest Workers.
Give thanks and praise God for the protection of harvest workers. Trains, planes, and automobiles wreck, crash, or even disappear, so it is vital that we continue to pray for safety of workers who travel all over the globe.
2014-09-04: Full-time Workers.
Give thanks and praise God for identifying full time workers through Pathways and Quest programs in 2014 as well as former years. Pray that God continues to prepare college age and young adults for serving as interns and apprentices alongside mission practitioners so that His message spreads among the unreached.
2014-09-02: Intercessors.
Give thanks and praise God that 823 intercessors have enlisted in the Team Expansion’s umbrella prayer group, the Prayer Force. Ask the Lord to continue to raise up prayer warriors that would number 1000+!
2014-09-01: PACE Partnerships.
Give thanks and praise God for 5 potential new PACE partnerships as result of events held at the North American Christian Convention in July. Pray that these churches will follow through with their commitment to take the Gospel to unreached peoples. Keep asking God for 80 church planting movements by 2015.
2014-08-31: New Workers.
Give thanks and praise for new workers who have answered the call to serve among unreached peoples. Pray for workers to persevere with patience in language acquisition and cultural learning. Trying to do even the simple tasks like shopping, paying bill, or finding transportation can be difficult in another culture and language.
