Give thanks and praise to God for 340 Team Expansion workers serving in 70 fields around the world. Pray for house helpers, guards, and other national employees who have access to the home lives of missionaries. Pray that these missionary families could embody the love of Christ as they serve as witnesses to these curious onlookers.

Praise God for Christian families serving the Lord overseas. Pray for missionary children: their salvation, their education, for deep friendships and boldness.

Praise God for effective ministry tools such as Jonathan Training, Oral Bible story approach, as well as other methods for training workers in planting churches among people groups who currently have no viable Christian witness. Pray for more harvest workers committed to a vision of church planting among the unreached.

Celebrate this time to be out in God’s creation with a community of saints for great worship and focused prayer. Pray that all who participate in the focused-prayer weekend at Emerald Hills will continue to ask the Lord to teach them to pray and to unleash extraordinary prayer in their life.

Unleashed: Extraordinary Prayer for the Harvest

Praise God! All across the world Christians are waking up to the fact that we haven’t really been tapping into the power of prayer. One Team Expansion team has raised up over 120,000 prayer partners who have signed on to lift up the needs of their land daily. Still others have signed up to pray for the entire globe via the Prayer Force. This Friday and Saturday is a special training and praying weekend at Emerald Hills. We are optimistic and excited about tomorrow because it looks like Jehovah God is on the move, inspiring His church to rise up and pray like never before.

Give thanks to God for intercessors involved in prayer initiatives for regions presently without the influence of the Gospel. Each prayer can soften the soil. Pray today for the children born this month in Arunachal Pradesh, that they will grow up with the opportunity to hear and treasure the Good News of God’s love and truth in Jesus and that the schemes of the enemy will have no authority in their lives to steal, kill, or destroy. Watch over these little ones, Lord, we pray.

Until Team Expansion constructs a training wing, God continues to bless our organization with host families that sleep our guests of training events. Some guests can stay up to 3½ weeks depending on the training. Give thanks to God for these gracious host families and their steadfast support and role in preparing workers for the harvest field. Pray the Lord shows mercy to their households because they have refreshed so many Team Expansion guests through demonstrating the gift of hospitality.

Give thanks for our Launch attendees and their commitment to answer God’s calling to serve cross-culturally. Ask God to bless these new missionary families in their time of training these next 2 weeks with focus, energy, peace of mind, and joy.

Launch training begins today and continues through Oct 17. Give praise to the Lord of the Harvest who continues to thrust out new workers into the field. Pray that Team Expansion organization might be effective in equipping new workers in the process of becoming full time, successful, and fruitful messengers of the Gospel among unreached peoples.

The Warao are an unreached tribal group. In an effort to engage the unreached people groups in Venezuela, churches have partnered with Mision Warao for close to 20 years – Praise God! Life among the Warao is difficult. Praise God that He has used the mission to bring not only the Gospel, but also literacy, medical assistance, and economic development. Pray that God would transform the Warao Indians for making an impact within other unreached peoples of Venezuela.
