2014-11-25: Praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord for appointing the Leadership Team to steer Team Expansion according to God’s guidance. Pray for the Leadership Team to have the Spirit of God in 2014 goal review and in projecting goals for 2015. Ask God to give Leadership Team gifts, divine direction, and power for ministry through Team Expansion.

2014-11-24: Give Thanks.

Give thanks and praise God that, as a result of 13 Five Loaves Refocus Groups, literally scores of participants have reported that they are praying more for new harvesters, reading and studying more about the Great Commission, and communicating more with each other in the Five Loaves Network about volunteers and mobilization for the good of the globe and the Gospel.

2014-11-23: Building Bridges.

Praise God that, through the Five Loaves initiative, we are building bridges and designing strategic and intentional networks. Pray God leads in asking specific staff people to focus on these activities of networking, resource building, and resource sharing.

2014-11-22: Partnerships.

Give thanks to God for partnerships and connections with local congregations and groups that are a part of His global Church. Pray that Team Expansion is effective in mentoring the ‘senders’, the partners making possible the work itself. Pray that training opportunities arise to include Biblical background of missions, an understanding of the heart of God for the nations, and a basic knowledge of mobilization and prayer support for the worldwide work of the Kingdom.

2014-11-21: Training.

In the Five Loaves initiative, another key area is training: identifying, offering, and participating in training that will help us gear up to finish the task of world evangelism. Pray that we, as trainers for a person traveling overseas to work directly with an unreached people group, are effective coaches in everything from spiritual transformation, principles, methods of learning another language, and plans for sharing Christ with the national people.

2014-11-20: Funding for Reaching the Unreached.

Celebrate with thanksgiving that God supplies the funding for reaching the unreached. Suppose we pray fervently and suppose God indeed answers by raising up harvesters. The next challenge, on behalf of unreached peoples throughout the world, would be identifying/developing resources for empowering the completion of the Great Commission mandate. Ask God to empower the Five Loaves initiative to multiply 5,000 times with leftovers that would fuel His work among unreached.

2014-11-19: Volunteers for Jesus.

Five Loaves has an emphasis on volunteerism. As we pray that God would raise up harvesters, He answers by people stepping up to volunteer as missionaries. Pray that we would be ready when God raises up those harvesters to pray for them, encourage them, and send them.

2014-11-17: Five Loaves.

“Five Loaves” is an initiative to advance the completion of the Great Commission with emphasis in 5 key areas: prayer, volunteerism, resources, training, and communication. We continue to be amazed by the way God is working in multiple ways. http://www.fiveloavesonline.com Pray for Kingdom impact from this initiative.

2014-11-16: God’s Spirit.

This year’s ICOM theme is “Vertical” with an emphasis on prayer. “After they had prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly” (Acts 4:31). Pray that Columbus, Ohio, would be shaken because of believers coming together in prayer at ICOM. Pray that all attenders might be filled with God’s Spirit to live out His Word boldly until the whole world hears.
