2015-05-31: Pray for Sikhs.
A Sikh is defined as “any human being who faithfully believes in one immortal Being: ten gurus and their teachings; the baptism bequeathed by the tenth guru; and who does not owe allegiance to any other religion.” Ask God to wipe away the pride Sikhs have in their religion and ethnicity, which prevents many from accepting Jesus. Pray for the release of Satan’s grip on the Sikhs.
2015-05-30: Ministering to Buddhists.
Ministering to Buddhists is a painstakingly slow process. Pray for encouragement and effective strategies for Christians working among them. Pray that those bound to sin and suffering will be set free and find forgiveness and hope in Jesus Christ.
2015-05-29: God Is Moving Mightily.
Praise God for moving mightily among people of the Islamic world. Current revolutions in many Muslim countries are opening doors to the Gospel. Pray for wisdom as Christians proceed and make plans to reach these people whom God loves. Pray for believers coming from a Muslim background to persevere under severe pressures from family and friends.
2015-05-28: Day of Prayer and Fasting.
Team Expansion’s home office observes the last Thursday each month to pray for the persecuted, unreached peoples, world leaders, harvest workers, and goals. We call it the Day of Prayer and Fasting. Ask the Lord to prepare and protect our hearts for this special time with Him.
2015-05-27: The Islamic World.
The Islamic world stretches across North Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Many of the Muslim countries are closed to Christian missions, making it difficult to enter. Pray that many Muslims would continue to have dreams and visions of Christ and would seek out Christians to help them study and learn the Truth.
2015-05-26: For the Sake of the Gospel.
Pray for abundant seed sowing, discipling, and training to take all around the world, for the sake of the Gospel and the advancement of God’s Kingdom, this week.
2015-05-25: Revival.
Pray that the church in America would cease from absorbing the culture of the world. Revive Your church, O Lord.
2015-05-24: Global Day of Prayer
Today is Global Day of Prayer (www.globaldayofprayer.com), a day of repentance and united prayer.
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place” Acts 2:1. United by a prayer for the world, Christians from all over the world, from different cultures and denominations, from many diverse streams will gather in their homes, or where appropriate, assemble in stadiums, public auditoriums and open squares and devote portions of their Sunday morning service to united prayer. Pray WITH the world as you pray FOR the world.
2015-05-23: Equip Christians.
Christians have generally proven ineffective in communicating the Gospel in a relevant way to secular, post-modern culture. Christians are often ridiculed and seen as old fashioned. Pray that God would equip Christians with knowledge and effective strategies to share the Truth with the unreligious bloc.
