Praise the Lord for a new Bible study group among Ecuadorian women. It’s been hard to reach these women because of influence from unbiblical religious traditions. There is also pressure from family and friends not to associate with Christians. Rumors spread that workers are there to steal kids for their organs, to worship Satan, or to form a cult. Praise God for hearing prayers and opening up the hearts of some Santa Martha women who are beginning to learn the Truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for these women to persevere because with Christ they are victorious.
2015-10-22: Day of Prayer and Fasting.
Day of Prayer and Fasting is a monthly occurrence at International Services, home base of Team Expansion in Louisville, KY. Give thanks that our staff is dedicated to seeking God’s face on behalf of the persecuted Christians, unreached peoples, harvest workers, and organizational goals. Pray that this Day of Prayer and Fasting gives glory to God in worship and praise and intercession.
2015-10-21: Workers in Italy.
Celebrate that workers in Italy have connected with Muslim Afghan refugees and given New Testaments to some of them. Pray that God would burden these refugees to read His Word and open their eyes and hearts to the lies of Islam.
2015-10-20: Servant.
A Team Expansion servant living in San Diego is working with disciples from Eritrea, Haiti, Belize, Mexico, and beyond. There is a small, inspiring Haitian congregation HUGE in love and commitment. They are eager to learn and grow and see how to be more effective. Pray that the Relational Evangelism course in French and Creole can be accomplished and be fruitful.
2015-10-19: Kairos.
Kairos is an uplifting, life changing course that mobilizes believers to fulfill their role in God’s mission for the nations. Team Expansion hosts this course 4 times a year on campus while many other courses are taking place in both local and global churches as well as university campuses. Give glory to God for multiplying the Kairos movement all over the world. Pray that participants involved in Kairos (Oct 19-23) are impacted by the material and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
2015-10-18: Celebrate New Believers.
Celebrate new believers taking the plunge in the Balkans. Never underestimate the power of the Living God to bring His children home. Never underestimate the power of prayer and promises found in His Living Word. He wants His lost sheep. Praise God for more than we could ever ask or imagine.

Praise God for the Gospel. Home after home of the Mongolian herder families have removed idols and fetishes, and the Bible is now the prominent place readily available to the family. They are moving from faith to deeper faith, the process in which we are all engaged.

Praise God for revealing His beauty and power through nature, and using nature to point people to Him. God speaks to people through nature, through His creation. Pray that people living in Canary Islands would be drawn to Jesus because of God’s magnificent glory and environment surrounding them.

Ask God to help us see the world through the eyes of our brothers and sisters living in the Muslim world, and to not be satisfied praying for less that the kinds of things they are praying for: death threats, wife and daughter taken from a man by his father-in-law; spirit of fear due to ISIS, people of peace, new churches formed.
