Lord, give us your compassion for the nearly 7,000 unreached people groups. May we do all we can to work with your Spirit so that they may find healing and life. May we pray, give and go as you lead. Send us out, Lord.
2016-01-31: Unreached People.
Pray for unreached people in remote areas of the world. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers to those places.
2016-01-30: Desire for God’s Heart.
Ask God to compel individuals with a desire for God’s heart for the nations to submit a profile at www.teamexpansion.org
2016-01-29: Renewing Visas.
Pray for workers in the process of renewing visas, residency cards, and other important documents that allow them to stay in their host countries. Pray for favor among officials that handle these vital documents so that the Gospel may continue to be shared among unreached peoples.
2016-01-28: Right Words to Say.
Ask God to give workers around the world the right words to say every time they open their mouths so that they may fearlessly proclaim the mystery of the Gospel. Pray for those who are learning a new language, and ask for continued diligence in practicing and speaking the heart languages of the people among whom they are serving.
2016-01-27: At Our Doorstep.
It cannot be denied that the nations of the world are arriving at our doorstep. The chance to welcome them with the hands and feet of Jesus is a chance to change the world. Pray that US Christians would get involved, explore their community with open eyes and a prayerful heart, and see what God reveals. Pray for friendships to develop with those of other countries.
2016-01-26: New Training Program.
Praise God for the development and implementing of a new training program where participants live in Louisville for 8-12 months. While here, they will have a cross-cultural immersion experience that will train them to love their neighbors, make healthy disciples, and form simple, multiplying churches. Pray that D-Course will bring glory to God.
2016-01-25: Unreached People.
There are nearly 3 billion unreached people in our world. Team Expansion has a Quest program that pair participants with an experienced team of missionaries who will challenge & encourage them, while showing them the daily demand & rewards of missions. Ask God to inspire couples & individuals to fill out application profile for Quest apprenticeships through www.teamexpansion.org/quest
2016-01-24: Living Languages.
There are 7,106 living languages in the world today, but less than 600 of these have the full Bible. For our organizations, Pioneer Bible Translators and Team Expansion, translation of the Bible is not the goal in itself. The goal is for a language group to become changed by the power of the Word of God and to daily live in accordance with it. Ask God to strengthen our partnership between Pioneer Bible Translators and Team Expansion for the purpose of sharing the Gospel with people who haven’t yet heard.
2016-01-23: Potential Partnership.
Praise God for a potential partnership developing with another non-profit in San Diego. Ask God to orchestrate planning and implementation of programs and training Christians to share the Gospel with near neighbors and back in Africa to reach people groups there.
