“I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth” Psalm 121:1, 2. Pray that the Lord would encourage every Team Expansion worker today and surround each one with His help.
2016-05-16: Leadership Team.
Leadership Team meeting takes place on most Mondays at 1:00 PM. Pray for spiritual wisdom and understanding for Leadership Team to lead Team Expansion on daily basis as well as from year to year.
2016-05-15: Discouragement.
Discouragement is a battle that all missionaries fight at one time or another. Discouragement comes to those whose support falters, whose plans don’t proceed as planned, when the harvest doesn’t seem equal to the seeds that are planted. Discouragement is one of Satan’s number one strategies in defeating missionaries. Pray against discouragement so that the saints do not give up.
2016-05-14: Faith.
Pray for the faith of Team Expansion workers serving around the globe. Ministry and support raising require faith! Leaving friends and family to venture to unknown regions also requires faith. Depending on God for daily needs requires faith. Waiting for ministry to happen requires faith. Raising a family in a foreign culture requires faith. Almost everything a missionary does for all of life requires faith. Pray that every Team Expansion missionary fights the good fight of the faith (1 Tim 6:12).
2016-05-13: Regional Retreat.
Give thanks to God for the opportunity to plan and stage the first ever Team Expansion regional retreat. To God be the glory! Pray that those who attended have returned to various regions of the world to build up the Kingdom for God’s glory.
2016-05-12: Team Expansion Workers and Their Families.
Give thanks for over 100 Team Expansion workers and their families who have registered for a regional retreat. Pray for coaches, trainers, volunteers, and care givers for children to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to serve well.
2016-05-11: Give Praise to God.
Give praise to God for the first regional retreat for Team Expansion workers. Pray for all involved to have safe journeys and to arrive with fresh perspective, rested minds, and bodies for the duration.
2016-05-10: Give Thanks.
Give thanks to God for supplying on-site costs for Team Expansion workers to attend a regional retreat for missionaries where they will stand shoulder to shoulder in worship, prayer, training, and sharing.
2016-05-09: Disciple Making Movements.
Pray for a conference on the principles of Disciple Making Movements. Pray for those doing the training to have good health and stamina for serving Team Expansion missionaries. Pray for those receiving the training to be open and obedient to using DMM principles in their cross cultural ministry settings.
2016-05-08: Unreached peoples.
Give thanks for Team Expansion ministry taking place among unreached peoples around the world. Pray for anointing for teaching, preaching, witnessing, and ministering to others. Pray for boldness and open doors for ministry and sensitivity to God’s leading. Ask God to prepare hearts and give favor with the people. Pray for fruitfulness in work and sphere of ministry.
